A+ Match of the Day: TLC Week

We're going to take a week break from the Royal Rumbles to do a TLC week leading into this likely shitty PPV.

Not all the A+ matches will be TLC matches but each will have at least a table, ladder or chair as a major part of the fray.

So we'll start this week off with a more recent oldie but goodie as we go one year into the wayback machine for the first-ever six-man TLC match as Ryback and Team Hell No took on The Shield in their official debut match. Enjoy.

  1. It was on this night where the Shield was actually built to be a threat.

  2. Funny how things change in just one year. Today you Bryan is in the main event tier, Kane is wearing a suit, the Shield on the verge of breaking up, and Ryback in a mid-card comedy tag team.

  4. Honest question: Are the shield really on the verge of breaking up? I haven't been watching raw regularly; have they been showing dissension or are we just assuming they'll break up since all teams in wwe have such a small shelf life?

  5. On the site, it's the Brawler/Michaels match under this post. Inside the post, it's the correct match.

As Scott Steiner would say, "HUH!?"

  6. Ambrose made a comment about how he was the only member of the Shield with a title, the other 2 gave him a look, now they are giving out subtle hints.

  7. Roman Reigns is getting the rocket push.

  10. That Rollins table bump is still sick

  11. Ryback holds the record for shortest interval of time between two TLC matches that he participated in, losing to CM Punk in a TLC match a month later.

  12. If not AT Wrestlemania they have the turn.

  13. I'd have thought they'd have the seeds of the Shield break up at Rumble, when Reigns eliminates around 8 guys, saves Ambrose and Rollins, and then Ambrose 'accidentally' eliminiates him.

  14. Easily the best "debut" match I've ever seen. That entire card is a distant memory considering it's only last year, but I was going buts watching this.

  15. This was AWESOME! If it hadn't been for Lesnar-Cena, this would have been my personal MOTY.
Actually, TLC has generally delivered since it's inception in '09, so i wouldn't write off this years event just yet.
