Comments

  1. Going to introduce my girlfriend to American Pyscho on Netflix then catch UFC afterward.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Who uses tax software to file 1040? If so, which is the best one?

Sports related: Who knew Melo had it in him? Stop lying, no you didn't

    ReplyDelete
  3. Funny you bring up American Psycho, one of my buddies refuses to believe Bale has done anything good outside of that.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Knicks fans should enjoy it, they aren't going anywhere this year.

    ReplyDelete
  5. It had a playoff-ish feel to it, like they all knew this was the pinnacle of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  6. A 62 point game? Sure. But doing it in a blowout they WIN? Not so sure.

Hearing Melo score 62 in a game they lost 120-100ish, while he went something like 20-48 from the field... I'd have believed that in a heartbeat.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Just did mine and my girlfriend's taxes today on Turbo Tax. I purchased a house this year and it was still easy. I do Turbo Tax every year though. It was free, but New York charges you to file, $15 per person isn't bad though.

    ReplyDelete
  8. They took him out with 8 to go. Simmons was saying he should have stayed in and gone for 70

    ReplyDelete
  9. I love that shoot mainly because they go in depth about Benoit's psyche

    ReplyDelete
  10. The Turbo Tax software is free to use? H&R Block sent me a disc in the mail and they are charging 30.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Shit, 23-35 (6-11 from long range) with 13 rebounds... yeah, let him go as high as he can at that point.

I think jobber (either him or cult) posted it in the live SD! thread, and when he said Melo was on the bench, I thought he might have fouled out (no context at the time).

    ReplyDelete
  12. Yeah, Turbo Tax has always been free. It's online. They have several packages to choose from and will prompt you to purchase them several times while filing your taxes, but just stay the course and you'll be fine. You only need to upgrade if you're doing itemized deductions.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Moonwalking scene is cool.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I honestly think he's one of the finest actors of our generation. He's kind of restricted in the Batman ones... because he's Batman, but he's even great in those.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hello everybody!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yeah, the odor wasn't as strong. Maybe Jericho draws a crowd of higher grooming standards. Or being at the front of the line kept away from the stench.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I didn't watch mma for a few years. What happened to bj penn? He was my guy for awhile amd I thought he was one of the top 2-3 fighters in the world. It seems like he just fell off the face of the earth

    ReplyDelete
  18. I'll follow the show in the blog.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Exactly what happened. I believe he retired after losing a couple of fights

    ReplyDelete
  20. If I knew Bryan was winning the Rumble for sure, I'd buy the show for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I always hated that arrogant little shit

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yup and Benoit making Kendrick order what Benoit was having for breakfast. 12 egg whites. The shoot is one of my favorite shoots ever

    ReplyDelete
  23. I got to see him at his downfall so I felt for the guy.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Rumor has it that Nash will be in the Rumble

    ReplyDelete
  25. Feb 2011: DRAW vs Jon Fitch, UFC 127
Nov 2011: LOSS vs Nick Diaz (unanimous decision), UFC 13
Dec 2012: LOSS vs Rory McDonald (unanimous decision), UFC on FOX

And Stephens should get the win (29-28), but he got SLOPPY in the 3rd.

    He finished 1-4-1 from 2010-12.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Can he walk at least?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Saw him fight that dude sherk in vegas and he was just incredible in person. I was such a fan after seeing that.

    ReplyDelete
  28. 411wrestling doesn't seem to mention that sooooooo A-No.

    ReplyDelete
  29. It's quite possible that, in 2015, there will be zero wrestling shows shown on regular PPV.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Ugh that's pretty bad. I didn't watch for awhile....essentially like 2010 till the first silva weidman fight. Guess I missed his downfall. Just googled him and apparently he's gonna have a comeback fight in 2014

    ReplyDelete
  31. what's with all the Big Show hate?

yes, there is no reason for him to still be in main events at this point - but usually he really isn't anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'll laugh if AJ's also there, and just missed her shot at being on camera.

    ReplyDelete
  33. But they haven't had Backlash in years!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I hope not. He's a shell of his former self.

    ReplyDelete
  35. They showed Punk @ UFC?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yep, he's coaching Season 19 of The Ultimate Fighter. Against Frankie Edgar, the guy who already beat him twice.

Sounds like another loss, most likely.

    ReplyDelete
  37. "Dude drew in 5 million people." who cares?

  40. I should tour the country going to WWE autograph sessions and see which superstars draw out the smelliest fans. I'll call it: "Smell in a Cell: Rank-ing the Top 25 Smelliest Draws of Pro Wrestling".

  71. Random high moment: it irks me that the WWE pretends that there's a difference between the #1 and #2 entries in the Rumble...

    ReplyDelete
  72. Looking at the card, I'd say likely not. But I really don't know, I wasn't paying attention at the start.

Dude, I ain't sayin' nuttin'. We're cool. That page has been turned.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I have no problem with anybody placing Bam Bam above Batista; Bam Bam was awesome. But I'd still much rather watch Batista than Big Show/Sheamus/Orton/ADR and any number of other guys that've been shoved down our throats lately. And, frankly, just on account of staleness, I'd rather watch Batista right now than Cena.

  85. So they should in the most literal sense possible make people pay for something and then give the EXACT same thing to them tomorrow night on RAW for free? I've seen matches such as Sting vs. Hogan or any number of bait and switches like Orton vs. Bryan this year that had non endings and you re did them on RAW or at the next pay per view but this would be business suicide. They got a backlash from a non ending of a title match I can't fathom what this would generate.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I wore shorts all day fyi

    ReplyDelete
  102. I didn't like it.

Geoff Johns is a great writer, but it's clear he's not interested in the trinity whatsoever, because he always writes them in a way that someone who just doesn't undertand these characters would write them. Superman is extremely unlikable, somewhat of a jock and a jerk, whole point of his character is that he's supposed to be a goof, a goody two shoes, that's what makes this immensely powerful being so likable. I'm not a fan of wonder woman being a mere lovestruck girl to superman, it's a boring relationship that moves neither character forward in any meaningful way. Lantern and Flash (Johns self admitted favourites) are written well and so is Cyborg, I'm not a fan of John's run so far anyway but I am curious to see them translate Forever Evil into a film one day.

I'm just saying when it comes to this new 52 continuity, it's saying something when Batman and Wonder Woman are having the best runs of their recent history and they almost take place in their own worlds without the larger universe messing things up.

    ReplyDelete
  103. God now I'm so hungry

    ReplyDelete
  123. Anybody watching the Ducks/Kings warm-up at Dodger Stadium? The players are in shorts on the field stretching.

    ReplyDelete
  124. I get what you are saying, but you are putting quite a lot on a guy who's basically been a hero for a couple of days. Putting on that suit doesn't make him Superman, His immense power and his responsibility to be the man his parents raised him to be is something he deals with his entire career. Unlike Batman he didn't just switch on hero mode and spend his entire young life training and honing skills to wage war on crime. He's some farm boy who just found out who is he and where he's from, he's just coming to terms with what he can do and what he should do with it. Does that excuse him? Nope...but from a story perspective it makes sense for all of that to be part of his growth, everything from the mindless destruction to the choice to kill Zod.

Either way I'm sure all of this will be addressed in the sequel.

  177. I don't think the problem is "non-wrestling" stuff but the fact that many of those critized topics were "too serious". I am pretty sure nobody would have complained if there had been three or four topics about movies, comics etc.
