- After they took down the sign-up page for repairs, it appears to have fixed the problems and I signed up with a US address and Paypal without a hitch.
- My Roku box isn't able to find the app, but I don't watch TV on that one much anyway. My PS3 was able to download it after switching to the US account, and although the streaming channel portion won't play, the PPVs and archives work FLAWLESSLY.
- Everything works perfectly on the iPad version.
- The website works for both and looks spectacular. Navigation is easy on both the web, IOS and PS3.
And now I have to go to work. FUCK.
So does that mean the 24/7 and live PPVs won't work on my PS3? Because honestly, that's a deal breaker for me. Might as well wait a year, then.ReplyDelete
no it means that it's the first day of this being available and not all flaws being fixed yet.ReplyDelete
I bring my laptop to work to have some music in the background, so instead of being behind me playing music, it's on my desk playing the Network today, with my headphones in.ReplyDelete
Looking forward to trying it on my PS3 tonight.
So the archives are up and ready?ReplyDelete
I'm also using PS3, but have the opposite problem, as the streams work fine, but old PPVs and shows have trouble playing/freeze/load forever.ReplyDelete
As others have said though, it's the first day. They'll probably work it out soon.
Once I was finally able to get all registered, the only issue I've had is that the Legends of Wrestling episode I'm watching took a while to load.ReplyDelete
Having no interest in this whatsoever I can tell it's going to be a very boring day around here for me, haha.ReplyDelete
You wanna play 21? I got 22!ReplyDelete
...I may be mixing that up.
Yeah, I just tried to sign up again and it went without a hitch. I am a happy, happy man.ReplyDelete
This network is the titsReplyDelete
Glad you like it.ReplyDelete
Do you have it?ReplyDelete
I remember when Hogan used that term on Nitro. After watching enough George Carlin I knew it was one of the 7 dirty words of TV, so hearing Hogan use the phrase made me do a double-take.ReplyDelete
I'm getting 404 error when I try to submit itReplyDelete
Anyone else's freeze up?ReplyDelete
I shut it off and had to do some work.ReplyDelete
It's been a few hours. Just because there are some glitches at launch doesn't mean it's not going to work on PS3 for eternity.ReplyDelete
Holy shit, this is the greatest thing to happen to men since sex. The quality is outstanding. Time to hole up for a week. Peace, fellas.ReplyDelete
wwe just rolled out an update on the ps3 it looks like. 2mbReplyDelete
I called in sick. lolReplyDelete
Anyone know how to use a ps3 In the UK to access it? And do you just make up an address?ReplyDelete
Working from home today, started with Starrcade '83.ReplyDelete
"I signed up with a US address and Paypal without a hitch."ReplyDelete
you make baby zeb cry
I'm in Canada, I have American Netflix, is that all I have to do? Where do I get the app?ReplyDelete
The same thing happened to me. I tried to sign up for about two hours, kept getting an error message at various spots, then had to go to work. Signed up with no issues here at my work computer. At least I have the iPad to watch on my lunch break.ReplyDelete
Download it from the PSN store, I imagine.ReplyDelete
Watching Spring Stampede 1994 right nowReplyDelete
So sign up finally worked but Xbox360 says it doesn't recognize my info, even though the website does. Anybody similar?ReplyDelete
Does the archive include any DVDs / retrospectives?ReplyDelete
Ugh. I somehow signed up twice. No cancel button. Had to send an email, and saw in the FAQs that there's no cancellation situation. Still hoping WWE cancels the second one.ReplyDelete
...I can see it now, I'm going to end up fighting Vince McMahon, aren't I? Or at least getting mentioned on RAW for being stupid enough to sign up twice. Because really, it was my dumb fault.
just watched vince's welcome msgReplyDelete
vince, eyedrops are your friend
1. New UserReplyDelete
2. Create US account (use new e-mail address)
3. Sign in
4. Download app
I signed up no problem. Trying to watch Bash 89 now. It is VERY slow and pauses every couple of minutes. Anyone else having this problem?ReplyDelete
taking a while for stuff to start playingReplyDelete
This is good news. I am currently in the US and there's a good chance I am moving to Canada soon. I wouldn't want my 6 month subscription to go to waste.ReplyDelete
But there's an equally good chance I'll be moving to Europe, so I'll have to read up on whether or not it can be rigged to work over there too.
WrestleMania 17 just refuses to play anymore.ReplyDelete
Now it is really slow for me. Keeps pausing.ReplyDelete
Watching Raw is Owen right now... such an emotional showReplyDelete
too bad you wont get to see the final countdown playing during the steamboat/flair video package for wrestlewar '89ReplyDelete
Yeah it can. I live in Scotland and I've got it working perfectly over here. Watching No Way Out 2004 right now.ReplyDelete
damn so no WM17 My Way either I betReplyDelete
My guess is that it's one of the most seeked PPVs at the moment, because of its historical nature, and hundreds trying it at the same time on day 1. I'm sure if you look for KOTR 1995, it will stream perfectly.ReplyDelete
The following edits have been discovered to the "uncensored and unedited" shows. My biggest issues is that suddenly boobs are censored. Do they not realise people are watching online where they are see as many boobs as they want.ReplyDelete
ECW's first PPV, Barely Legal, has removed a shot from the opening with fans throwing chairs with Terry Funk, Mick Foley and The Public Enemy. Instead this was replaced with a clip of Eddy Guerrero vs Dean Malenko, who are not on the show. It features several music edits and new commentary from Joey Styles over parts of the show.
Over the Edge 1999 starts with a graphic of Owen Hart that says "In memory Of Owen Hart(1965-1999) who accidentally passed away during this broadcast". The edits are "neatly cut" and if you didn't know he died on the show you wouldn't know anything was missing.
Armageddon 1999 blurs Miss Kitty's breasts when she goes topless. The original WWF Home Video release did not have any blurring.
WCW SIn wont work for me now.ReplyDelete
So can anyone tell me, categorically, are you going to be able to watch Raw, SD, etc on this the day after broadcast? I was a bit surprised when, during EC, they plugged Hulu as the only place to do so, and being in the UK, that would be the main thing I'd be signing up for, as sitting up til 4am isn't an option.ReplyDelete
what, no one checked to see if miss kitty's itty bitty shitty titties were blurred?ReplyDelete
for shame, BoD
I like the "This, the day of my daughter's wedding" reference.ReplyDelete
That has nothing to do with music rights, they just know now that Limp Bizdick is fucking terrible.ReplyDelete
see below what? no one says anything in this threadReplyDelete
True but that was an awesome video package..ReplyDelete
My Way and Rollin are in tactReplyDelete
If they want to get Batista a face pop, have him powerbomb Fred Durst.ReplyDelete
Im guessing you might be only subscriber to have tried that show...ReplyDelete
Bunch of ghouls out there!!ReplyDelete
This what I posted in the original Network thread:ReplyDelete
As a recap, to dispel some fears from some people who were concerned:
1) Jesse Ventura's commentary on non-WrestleMania PPVs and shows is in tact and complete
2) Blood is not gray screened
3) Chairshots to the head are not edited or censored
4) Benoit is shown in full with no removal
5) WWF scratch logo (and the initials WWF) is shown and said without blur/edit
6) Miss Kitty's tits, however, ARE blurred out of the Armageddon 1999 PPV...so are, thankfully, Mae Young's at Royal Rumble 2000...
7) Licensed music seems to be replaced as well...
The guy who posted the really long thing all about the network said it was blurred out.ReplyDelete
Spring Stampede 94 stopped playing on me.ReplyDelete
So much love for "My Way," not enough for "Mr. McMahon's Utopia" from Over the Edge '98.ReplyDelete
I don't get why they censor breasts. The violence must bring a tougher classification rating than the 5 seconds of boobs.ReplyDelete
not sure about hardcore cursing, but "bullshit" is left in (havoc '99 when madusa is doing the cologne thing)ReplyDelete
Maybe Sean O'Haire is sitting at home trying to relive his glory year.ReplyDelete
so... no one's checked out over the edge 99?ReplyDelete
It launches with a "In memory of..." message about Owen Hart...all references to him dying during the PPV are seamlessly removed.ReplyDelete
Care to elaborate on exactly what you did to get it working? I've never had to deal with any of these ways to get US-only web stuff working abroad.ReplyDelete
If I end up in Europe, it'll be either France, Germany, Sweden, or the Netherlands (I'm not playing Raw Roulette, they are grad school locations).
they need better controls for skipping and jumping throughout the showReplyDelete
Don't worry. If you sue you'll end up owning like 20% of the company. WWE legal are incompetent.ReplyDelete
Nothing is working on my ps3 or roku. Guess I'll try again later tonight after work.ReplyDelete
You'd think that, but you are wrong because 'Mericah.ReplyDelete
...said no one, everReplyDelete
I have not had a single issue with the Network. From my tablet, to my phone, and computer, the network is working flawlessly. Quality looks amazing. I'm happyReplyDelete
Near as I can tell, on PS3, anything from the vault isn't currently playing, but the scheduled stream (currently airing the Bret/Shawn rivalries doc) works just fine.ReplyDelete
Anyone any different?
There's a joke about owning more than Stephanie, but I can't put my finger on it.ReplyDelete
It froze up a little bit ago but not for very long. Other than that, the long loading time, and the quality tanking for a few seconds, it's been great.ReplyDelete
Tom Miller, best ring announcer ever.ReplyDelete
Boobs kill more people than all violence and guns on TV!ReplyDelete
little synopsis from 411ReplyDelete
You're full of shit. Thats a great pre-match videoReplyDelete
The pre match video for Austin/Rock kicked ass. Dubbing over it with b-roll music ruins itReplyDelete
I'm having some minor glitches on the PS3. At first, the "seek" function didn't work, which is sort of annoying when you try to watch things like the 1992 Royal Rumble and don't want to sit through 90 minutes of non-Rumble matches, load times are a bit long, and the video's had to pause itself a few times (though I blame that hitch on my wi-fi, not the network). Still, as I mentioned in the other thread, the picture quality is great (even in SD), and those issues aren't anything that can't be worked out by the programmers if/when they come out with a patched version soon.ReplyDelete
I haven't scoured the archives yet, but they're playing Rivalries: Bret vs. Shawn right now as part of their "Beyond the Ring" series. I suspect they'll do more of the same with other various docs & retrospectives.ReplyDelete
I had to work in the morning so waiting until 2:30 to sign up made the process too easy. Laptops work fine. Haven't checked iPads yet but I don't anticipate problems.ReplyDelete
You should be able to get achievements by watching through your game console.ReplyDelete
VINTAGE Blog of Doomer
Bash 89 is the First Program Viewed
it would be nice, if like Hulu, there were markers in the time scroller marking individual segments.ReplyDelete
Building Momentum: Watch 5 PPV's in a rowReplyDelete
Go More Than 3 Hours Without Using Account
Is it working better? I'm thinking about signing up when I get home. (I was gonna wait until Wednesday to wait out glitches)ReplyDelete
When I say working perfectly I mean it just crashed on me.ReplyDelete
To get the network I just entered a fake American address into all the rquirements including things like the zip code. It's as easy as that my friend.
Sleep With the FishesReplyDelete
Watch 5 Chris Benoit matches in a row
are you able to even get into old PPVs? I've gotten a lot of 'cannot load video' and just once in the past hour have I been able to start a PPVReplyDelete
I have more stable performance on my laptop than I do on my Nexus 7 tablet...same network...ReplyDelete
What a Maneuver!ReplyDelete
Watch the Network in a foreign country by getting around the regional barriers
I'd put him Top 5, along with Fink, Cappetta, ????ReplyDelete
No, seriously, I ran out at three.
Yeah, I've gotten into the 1992 Rumble and 2005 One Night Stand.ReplyDelete
I think Meltzer said Raw and Smackdown are going to be available 30 days after they air.ReplyDelete
I do love that hypocrisy:ReplyDelete
"Gun control SAVES CHILDREN!" "Next, on (insert network), 'Movie With Serious Gun Violence' ".
Watch One Night Stand 2006 and Money in the Bank 2011
I just signed up. YayyyyReplyDelete
I got it ordered fine on the website, and installed the WWE app on my 360. And now it's saying my email/password is wrong whenever I try to log onto the WWE app. And I can't figure out how to fix it.ReplyDelete
My stream on my Roku has been flawless. Got the Vault working great on my laptop. Vault having issues on Roku.ReplyDelete
