WM17

WM17 seems to be missing from my WWE Network. What's going on?

You have chlmydia.  I'm sorry, I didn't want to be the one to tell you this way.

  1. Lol. Nice response.

It was on our lord and savior, the network, a few weeks ago. Not sure if it got pulled

  2. PPVs are being taken down and different versions are being put up in their place. There's got to be at least half a dozen different versions of these PPVs now with edits, blurring, music substitution, chokes removed, Benoit removed, etc.

  3. I once caught clamydia from a promiscuous mollusk. The worst part is he didn't even hold me afterwards; what a shellfish lover.

  4. was just able to play it on my iphone

  5. I was watching Money in the Bank (the Punk/Cena one) yesterday and it froze up and wouldn't reload. I wonder if this is what happened.

  6. Yeah, yesterday I noticed that Survivor Series '95 was quite obviously the anthology version with all of the "WWF" mentions still edited out, so it wouldn't surprise me if that's replaced in the future.

  7. It's playing fine for me.

  8. It's back up now. They fixed the audio issue after HHH/Undertaker so Undertaker doesn't leave to silence. When the Network launched, there was no audio during Undertaker's exit.
As I posted a couple days ago, themes done by Michael Hayes and Jimmy Papa are being restored to WCW shows. Papa filed a lawsuit against WWE in 2012 for using the Slam Jam album music without contacting him or anything, so all the Slam Jam themes, 2 Cold Scorpio's WCW theme, and the Freebirds' themes (Badstreet USA and I'm a Freebird and What Was Your Excuse") have been dubbed over since then but are now being restored.
WWE even took down the "Worst Characters" episode of Legends of Wrestling and put it back up with the footage of Hayes and Jimmy Gavin singing at Clash 18 included. Beach Blast 1993 and Fall Brawl 1993 used lots of SJ music, and it's now all intact again as of a few days ago. They even briefly pulled Bash at the Beach 1994 to restore Johnny B. Badd's music.
So if you see more WCW PPVs get pulled soon, this is way. Some ECW PPVs were pulled, but that was to remove the censor bleeps from the swearing. GAC 2001 now has at least a dozen unbleeped f-bombs.

  10. To piggyback on the ECW part, I had heard people mentioning that a lot of the shows removed matches with New Jack run-ins, probably because Natural Born Killaz played throughout the duration of his run-in.

Classics on Demand played a generic stock theme over Natural Born Killaz, but sometimes it'd sound ridiculous with the fake crowd and a lot of the commentary not being in it. In fact, I don't recall many New Jack run-ins post-1996 on CoD so maybe they started earlier.

All that said, it seems like they're re-adding the New Jack appearances, as well as uncensoring the language.

In the case of both WCW and ECW, it seems like they just put up the same versions of shows that aired on CoD in order to make their life easier when making sure everything was ready for the launch, and are now going back and 'fixing' things. Personally, I think it's great that they're taking the time to 'restore' what are ultimately small details.

  11. Like chris mentioned, GAC '01 has all of the bleeps removed, although they haven't replaced Heatwave '99 yet, so Bubba's rant on the crowd is still bleeped.

  12. They haven't restored NJ's deleted matches (and I don't know if they will). His LD 1999 match against Mustafa is included (which was there when the Network launched so it's not one of the changes they've been making over the last week), and they managed to not interfere with Joey's original commentary when adding in the different music.
I did notice that for some reason, Wrestle War 1990 is a combo of the live PPV and home video releases. The matches that WCW did not include on their home video version are included on the Network, but after the Freebirds' match, it has the home video version transition where WCW skipped over the Steiners' interview and just went to the entrances for the Steiners/Andersons match.

  13. Kudos to whoever suggested the Summerslam with the Taker / Edge HIAC. What a good random show to check out.

  14. Could be an issue where the PPV master tape is really poor quality at certain points and they had no other choice but to use the Turner home video release. I think that was the case with either SummerSlam 93 or 94.

  16. Decent match with a hokey-ass ending.

  17. Dear WWE: Take down any damn tape you want for editing, but when you yank X-7, I expect an E-mail.

  18. Was that the one where he brained him with a camera, then speared, then tombstoned him? Pretty decisive IMO.

  19. I thought that was the one where he Chokeslammed him off the ladder and through the ring?

  20. Lord knows, we couldn't live without those New Jack matches. I was clamoring to see those almost as much as the Flair/Steamboat matches.
