Re: nwo dvd...
ReplyDeleteIs there any sadder dvd than that last nwo dvd?
I mean seriously vince...
Re: nba did they do the draft lottery yet?
ReplyDeleteThat Ultimate Legend doc was really tough to watch.
ReplyDeleteAre we doing a PPV viewing tonight?
ReplyDeleteIt's really good, though.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone wants to see Caliber winfield get into an argument over Boston Strong with a a state police officer on my facebook wall, add me - facebook.com/pmeekin
ReplyDeleteGet your popcorn ready.
Pass.
ReplyDeleteBest thing they've done
ReplyDeletelmfaooo
ReplyDeleteI don't have a Facebook account Synopsis?
ReplyDeleteFucking Kyle Lowry is a beast son! Lake show signing his ass next year? I'd rather have my 1-4 be Lowry, Kobe, Deng, and gasol, with a center than pay a guy whose never been on a winning team like Kevin Love max money.
ReplyDeleteDeng just won't be able to jack up bad shots with Kobe. Everyone was worried artest would do that shit but he played some of his best all around ball in years. I'd see Deng working out similarly. Keep farmar, young, henry, on the bench, obviously fire dantoni, keep Nash, maybe he plays half a season and he's a obviously a good lockerroom guy. Boom Lakers are back in the playoffs.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Boston Strong, anyone else thinks it's fucked up that on the SI cover, it is all white people?
ReplyDeleteHow do you mean? I thought it was pretty good.
ReplyDeleteD will feeling it baby!
ReplyDeleteits bs to tell the story of the NWO in an hour.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile the John Cena experience gets like damn near 2.5
He never wants to put over the NWO and give them the treatment they deserve. Putting a fair and balanced NWO dvd would be telling the world "yes... WCW did something better than me"
You get all those canned rehashed interviews from guys from the last NWO dvd, which aint that much better.
What's the story with the little down syndrome dude who falls over the railing during Austin vs HBK at kotr 97? Was that planned? And how great is Austin cheap shoting hbk when he tries to help the little dude?
ReplyDeleteOf course it wasn't planned.
ReplyDeleteIs this how you pad your post count, you disappear into this thread and post about the NBA?
ReplyDeleteSo did you just fall over the railing or something?
ReplyDeleteAgreed that it should have been longer but there already was a nWo dvd. And a lot of those interviews are fresh. Disagree that it wasn't fair and balanced.
ReplyDeleteWhiff.
ReplyDeleteWhatever you say little buddy!
ReplyDeleteIll jump on that.
ReplyDeleteThis is also the NBA playoff thread now, as I deem it to be so.
ReplyDeletePosts like these are the reason you did the job at BoD mania.
ReplyDeleteNeed the strap to make those kinds of decisions. Sorry buddy.
ReplyDeleteSum that shit up or copy and paste for those of us without fb.
ReplyDeletethe other nwo dvd is out of print and highly sought after for what fucking reason I have no clue
ReplyDeletebut its 10 years old.
DX kept getting DVDs
DX got 2 right? Same as nWo.
ReplyDeleteAre you serious?
ReplyDeleteDX has four.
The only strap I recognize is over to the right of these comments. You've got the uswa title. Don't get me wrong, that's a good one too.
ReplyDeletescratch, they have 3.
ReplyDeleteI thought there was one with the Outlaws in it
You're like Jerry Lawler. Everybody knows you from your shitty commentary(posts) on Raw(main BoD threads) but on your off days you're down in Memphis winning 16,000 titles no one has ever heard of.
ReplyDeleteYou and the ref fucked me over. That kind of shit isn't supposed to go down in North America but hey its a new promotion. Plus I suppose for us big babyfaces all the money is really in the chase. I'm fine with the evil heel carrying some gold for awhile.
ReplyDeleteIm gonna take the high road and not say why you dont have facebook.
ReplyDeleteYou have no friends.
What are the 3? btw, is there a site that lists all of the DVDs WWE has put out?
ReplyDeletelol @ you thinking your the babyface
ReplyDeleteSo...copy and paste?
ReplyDeletei dont know but im sure some nerd has them listed on some shitty geocities site.
ReplyDeletethe original DX from the 90s
New and improved
and the last stand
D-Generation X (VHS 1998, DVD 2006 re-release)
ReplyDeleteNew And Improved DX (2007)
DX: One Last Stand (2011)
I never heard of the last one, in all honesty.
Bayless's booking decision will at least answer the age old question of: What if Vince brought back Buddy Rogers in 1984 instead of Hulk Hogan?
ReplyDeleteIm gonna take the high road and not say why you dont have facebook.
ReplyDeleteYou have no friends...
Just use Wiki, it probably has a full list.
ReplyDeleteSTOP STEALING MY SHINE SON!
ReplyDeleteIf it was a re-release that shit dont count
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to watch the John Cena Experience doc. They want to show how great, busy, and diverse he is, but that doesn't mean he's doing a good job at these things.
ReplyDeleteYeah, you filmed a movie, but it wasn't any good. Yeah, you recorded a rap song in one night, but it wasn't any good, either. It's like people who list all the things they do to show how crazy their lives are--they humblebrag about quantity instead of quality.
Touche.
ReplyDeleteYou are speaking of the re-issue only, and not the original VHS correct?
ReplyDeleteBoth.
ReplyDelete\____O______/
ReplyDeleteNow you are just twisting the parameters to fit your skewed vision.
ReplyDeleteDX has 3 videos about them. The re-release doesnt count, unless it has new material on it and i cant speak on that.
That's what I'm saying.
ReplyDeleteAnd I know you can't speak on that because you are not Konnan.
ReplyDeleteYou dont know that, ese
ReplyDeleteJust started watching the Warrior doc. So far so good. Is this from the DVD or something new they put together? And it's weird seeing Sting in a WWE produced doc.
ReplyDeleteTJ: anybody who has their ps3 for over 2 years.
ReplyDeletehow long does your controllers keep a charge?
i have had some of my controllers over 8 years and they barely keep a charge for more than a day? was wondering if anybody has this problem or do they just chuck them and say fuck it.
i have 2 ps3s so i kept all my sony controllers and bought some 3rd parties from tmart
I've had to replace my controllers for not malfunctioning before they ever stopped holding a charge. I still have my ps3 I got a year after they came out but am on around 3rd generation of controllers. The oldest one I have is around 2.5 years and it does still seem to hold a charge for awhile. I let them go dead usually before I plug them back in.
ReplyDeletePat Patterson balling in Toronto! Holy shit!
ReplyDeletei let mines go dead as well, but shit, i had legends house on pause the whole ive been posting and my shit is DOA after like 3 hours.
ReplyDeleteim like damn...
Shit dude, its probably on its last legs.
ReplyDeleteprobably? hmmph... that itch is deader than Ultimate Warrior.
ReplyDeleteToo soon?
Id that controller starts doing the dual shock rumble all on its own you'll know its become possessed with the warriors spirit. If that happens don't let see you sticking the cord into the back end of other controllers. It would get really offended!
ReplyDeleteit already runs down... im just waiting for it to blow up.
ReplyDeleteThe Warrior doc was amazing. Don't think I've ever since Vince that emotional. Also can't believe how in depth they got with the lawsuit. Pretty cool to see grainy video of Hulk talking shit in the deposition.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the doc called?
ReplyDeleteWarrior: The Ultimate Legend.
ReplyDeleteThe officiating is terrible. Raps not getting any calls at all.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'll watch it later.
ReplyDeleteTJ: Another classic "What if?" thread over at F.A.N. in the making: http://officialfan.proboards.com/thread/497471/ruin-classic-moment-smarky-chant
ReplyDeleteJeez, the Warriors are getting killed
ReplyDeleteOme of the funniest spots ever is from the 2002 rumble. Taker gets eliminated by Maven as Scott 2 Hotty is coming into the ring. Scotty is doing this ridiculous never the top dance next to Taker and Taker just starts beating the shit out of him.
ReplyDeleteThat's a bad loss by the Raptors. Gotta win that game 1 at home
ReplyDeleteI'm on my second PS3, going on six years combined. I believe I still have one of the original controllers I bought with the system, one I got a few months after, and a couple new ones I bought last September. They all hold charges pretty well, and I use a 2-controller charger I got a couple years back to recharge them.
ReplyDeleteStraight run, I can get at least 8 hours out of each, but I rarely play more than 90 minutes at a stretch. Especially recently.
What kills my controllers is my occassional case of the drops/rages. But I've only killed one PS3 controller, when the L2 button gave up the ghost.
That's not good run time... anything under 6 hours is suspect IMO.
ReplyDeleteI love that one... that Rumble is one of the better ones IMO.
ReplyDeleteTaker/Maven
Hurricane/HHH/Austin
Perfect's return
RVD's little run getting cut off by the PEDIGREE OF DEATH (he sold it until Booker tossed him like a sack of potatoes, at least a minute later)
It's got lots of star power and it's well booked.
ReplyDelete92 and 04 are my favorite but this is in that next tier
What a dog shit move by the clippers to cry about the Lakers banners. Get your own fucking city to play in. To be honest, and this comes from a guy who has lived in socal for almost 15 years, if the Lakers have even a half way decent team next year (and I mean just over .500) no one will give a shit about the clippers even if they win a title (pro tip:they won't). 90% of the people in this building would rather be at a Lakers game.
ReplyDeleteCurry=best guard in the league (sorry Kobe its probably over for you but maybe not)
ReplyDeleteWhere the fuck have I been? How long has Reddick been healthy?
ReplyDeleteIs Dudley fucking done for the playoffs?
Obviously the refs/NBA want Griffin and Paul to advance to the next round since those are probably the 2 of the four biggest stars in the league (with Kobe and lebron). Let's see if we can rise above all this bullshit
ReplyDeleteI think dudley is just out of the rotation? Did he get hurt?
ReplyDeleteCurry or harden?
ReplyDeleteno durant?
ReplyDeleteSteph is just deadly. Harden is like a poor mans d wade and he sucks on d. Imo
ReplyDeleteHe was out injured season. Never see him play so figured he was still hurt. Guess he could just be in Docs doghouse. Guess with Reddick, Crawford, and Granger they've only go so many wing minutes
ReplyDeleteDavid Lee can't let Jordan run past him at all. He just needs to shadow that dude.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely durant on there over the two clips. Good point. NBA wants that okc vs clippers series
ReplyDeleteFuck. I took a nap for awhile and missed the Warriors +8? That seems fucking high.
ReplyDeleteThe only good thing about drawing the clips in round 1 is at least warriors fans had no problem getting tickets.
ReplyDeleteIf JJ reddick was fast enough to play point guard he would be a hall of famer
ReplyDeleteI LOL'd hard at Bill Simmons speculating the clippers are worth 1.3 billion.
ReplyDeletePhewwwww....great first half and of course abc has to interview a clipper
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy that people are already saying that CP3 might historically be the 3rd best PG ever after Magic and Isaiah.
ReplyDeleteSame with wade being the 3rd best 2 guard ever. Can't really argue either but neither of those guys were ever the best player in the league
ReplyDeleteIs Caliber pro or anti-Boston Strong? I get the feeling he's anti, which sucks, because I hate agreeing with him.
ReplyDeleteI'd argue that Wade was the best player in 06-07 until he fucked up his shoulder.
ReplyDeleteWhat is wrong with the right side of Bill Simmons' face?
ReplyDeleteBill Simmons is a good columnist but honestly what the fuck is he talking about
ReplyDeleteBilly Kidman in WCW was so fun to watch, his WWE run so meh.
ReplyDeleteThe injury makes that season tough to judge for him. Dirk and Kobe both had great years that year.
ReplyDeleteSimmons was fucking awful when he first started doing tv. Not great yet but infinitely better then what he was
ReplyDeleteHis face is just distracting. He lives to hate on everything Brooklyn does, so I despise him
ReplyDeleteIf it's not from Boston or the Clippers he's gonna hate on it.
ReplyDeleteAny chance the Grizzlies can beat the Thunder?
ReplyDeleteThese WM fallout are a good watch. Heyman reaction to Brock beating the Streak might be the greatest thing ever.
ReplyDeleteI just wonder why he has expert credentials to talk about guarding point guards or setting rotations. He'd be better used as a rumor monger type like Pete vecsey used to be.
ReplyDeleteAnother example I remember is Barry Windham, who was one half of the U.S. Tag Champions with Ronnie Garvin when he stuck his nose in Flair's business in 1987 and they proceeded to have some great matches. I also remember (from that same year) on SNME when Bret Hart, one half of the tag team champs, stuck his nose in Macho Man's match with Honky and it set up a Macho v. Bret match on the next episode of SNME that stole the show. In 91 there was a great Shawn Michaels v. Flair match on Prime Time Wrestling in 91 when Shawn was with the Rockers and they were having problems. Looking back, these were great tests for Barry, Shawn, and Bret that gave the company a good idea of their value, as well as learning experiences for the wrestlers that helped prepare them to be singles stars. So taking a tag team guy and using him that way is a win win.
ReplyDeleteIMO that'd be a great way to use a lot of the Attitude Era guys they like to drag out of mothballs. They'll get a nice pop and then a good match with Bryan.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how badly they screwed up the Rhodes Bros. They were putting on the best tag matches in year and had the audience super invested in them, and they threw it away for a New Age Outlaw reign and a break-up feud that never happened. I'm actually glad they didn't turn Goldust heel, but now I'm worried they're just going to phase him out anyway well Cody goes back to floundering in the midcard. Such a waste.
ReplyDeleteAngle/Henry also.
ReplyDelete
