The recommendation today goes back to 1993 WCW (I know), with a hidden gem of a show in Slamboree '93. It was originally intended to be a legends tribute show in the beginning, and there are several legends matches to go through, the best of which is Dory Funk Jr vs. Nick Bockwinkel. But then the main card has curiosities like Bobby Eaton and Chris Benoit as a team taking on Scorpio & Bagwell; the return of Sid Vicious as a mystery opponent for Van Hammer (sorry to ruin the surprise 21 years later); a pretty good match between The Hollywood Blondes and Dos Hombres (after Shane Douglas got fired); a match between Arn Anderson and Barry Windham that was good, and the main event of Vader vs. The British Bulldog. So many reasons to check out this show. I challenge Scott to do a re-rant of this show.

  1. Picked up a bunch of WWE stock at $11 a share. Let's see if this can help me pay for the Network.

  2. Why bother Scott? Just reread what RSG thought about it:

  4. I had a VHS of Slamboree 1993 that I picked up at a thrift store in the early 2000s and I remember being pretty bored with it. I think I watched it once and sold it on Ebay. Might give it a second look.
