Friday Night Thread

Discuss Smackdown, NBA & NHL playoffs, and MLB action here.

Also, special thanks to poster Dr. Facts for finding us a YouTube video that showed us Harvey Whippleman's wife. Here is that video as she gets her head shaved after losing to Miss Texas

  1. Will this thread break 200?

  2. Apparently, three game 7's on the same night has never happened before in the NBA. That's kinda crazy. I think Zach Randolph getting suspended just put the Thunder in the second round.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Are they all gonna be on the same channel?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Watching Exit Through The Gift Shop for the first time.

    ReplyDelete
  5. All on TNT, starting at 5:30

    ReplyDelete
  6. All back to back.

We could have some game 7s on Sunday also. Nets are out to a big start, Dallas might win and Houston might win also. We should have 5 game 7s, which is ridiculous for the NBA

    ReplyDelete
  7. That would have to be a first.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Rangers looking good early but they've got the dreaded 2-0 lead. But with King Henrik between the pipes that should be enough. As for the NBA my moneys on the team with the most tall black dudes.

    ReplyDelete
  9. So glad we got closure on the Whippleman's wife issue.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I've been in suspense for weeks.

    I'd hit it

  11. Getting ready to watch Smackdown up here on SN360, before Smackdown they air the Vintage Collection Show and the featured match...John Cena Vs Randy Orton!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Plus Jeff Jarrett's Ho and Jerry Lawler's Wife/Ho! Triple Ho Threat!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Uptown Karen & Downtown Bruno... awesome couple.

    Let's remember this great moment.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Like almost everyone else on the planet, I don't think it really matters who wins the Nets-Raptors series. I think the Heat will destroy them.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I suspect you wouldn't turn down two warm pieces of liver.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Oh good lord. I remember watching this. Never again.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Heat will have no struggle getting to the finals.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The highlight for me is still Macho,Brutus & Jake Roberts tearing it up on the brass section.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I have something to say.

Fuck the NBA. Fuck the NHL. And, of course, fuck MLB.

    That is all.

    :-)

    ReplyDelete
  21. Fuck the world cup too.

    ReplyDelete
  22. The PPV is this sunday? Damn what a terrible build it's been.

    ReplyDelete
  23. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/feb/16/brazil-world-cup-disaster-delays-protests-deaths

    Here's why.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Pretty much, though I have enjoyed DEMON KANE.

    ReplyDelete
  25. PPV looks like an episode of RAW.

    ReplyDelete
  26. and the Wyatts are just on a different fucking level now.

So...actually, toss in The Shield vs Evolution, and the build has been pretty normal.

I retract my "pretty much" portion of that statement.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I heard the Lakers are interested in hiring Tom Thibideau away from Chicago. Bill Simmons keeps saying he isn't happy there, but I have a hard time seeing the Bulls letting him go.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Holy crap what a busy day. Three events, a subway derailment and now Yankees-Rays. I didn't even have a chance to waste time here on the Blog. Aren't Fridays supposed to be more relaxing?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Umm, in the video above, man.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I heard this morning that Mark Jackson is getting fired if he doesn't not only advance into the next round, but do well in the next round.

    ReplyDelete

    Here's the true world cup.

    ReplyDelete
  32. You would shake down for a can of Manwich.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Damn. And I thought Raider fans were nuts.

    Seriously, dude. What a mess.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Harper & Rowan as tag champions are a good choice.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Cops,citizens,it's truly a mess.

    ReplyDelete
  36. FALSE.

A shakedown would require a whole sandwich. I'm not gonna cook the fucking thing myself.

    Shit.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yeah...I can't even make a joke about that. It's funny as is.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I hope you're not caught up in that shit.

    ReplyDelete
  39. No,I know friends that were in the protests. It's crazy, the cops just start to shoot out of nowhere.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Why not? They've impressed me with their ring work. If the WWE can book a proper feud with them and The Usos i'd be all for it.

  43. Shane Douglas stealing Eddy's Lie Cheat,Steal Gimmick 10 years early! That bastard!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I should have known. You would drag them into a kitchen and make them prepare a meal as you have them in a headlock

    ReplyDelete
  45. Stranger in the AlpsMay 2, 2014 at 6:16 PM

Makes absolutely zero sense to arrange for yourself a DQ win when you can have the pin.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Does anyone ever been in a comics convention, planning to go in one sunday.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I know. The Finals should be awesome again this year. Whether it's the Spurs, Thunder, Clippers, or even one of the other Western teams, I can definitely see a seven game classic.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Nope. Trust me, when they decide to make that official name switch and i agree they will, we'll know about it...about 47 times per show.

    ReplyDelete
  49. They're probably trying to think of something more trademark-able and obnoxious.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Stranger in the AlpsMay 2, 2014 at 6:17 PM

    Shakedown at the Family Dollar.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Why Sheamus couldn't take the fall?

    ReplyDelete
  52. That is your BoD small town house show

    ReplyDelete
  53. I've gone to a few of the smaller ones - Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo and New York Comic Con. Never to San Diego. Not sure I can handle it. NYCC drives me nuts. If not for being able to escape to the press lounge, not sure I could handle it.

    ReplyDelete
  54. They all have the most tall black dudes!

    ReplyDelete
  55. To be honest PPV still sounds like something with actual money value.

Buy the network get the PPV's for FREE! sounds better than get the special.

    ReplyDelete
  56. It's a shameful thing.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Stranger in the AlpsMay 2, 2014 at 6:20 PM

Hey all, I don't know if this means more are coming but on Monday at 6 AM on the live feed the first Clash of the Champions is playing.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Stranger in the AlpsMay 2, 2014 at 6:21 PM

I hadn't looked that far ahead. Sounds like awesome news.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Yankees just gave up a 2-1 lead after I got home and started watching. Baseball may not be a thing I should watch tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Stranger in the AlpsMay 2, 2014 at 6:21 PM

Baseball has been a thing I shouldn't watch ALL SEASON thus far.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Magoonie NOT Teddy BelmontMay 2, 2014 at 6:21 PM

Yeah, I'm hoping this means they are going to start adding Clashs now.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Well, there goes my day! I wonder if more Clashes will be added as well.

    ReplyDelete
  64. You'll get one on the first Monday of each month, and LIKE IT.

    ReplyDelete
  65. 3 ****+ matches.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I really wouldn't complain. There's enough other stuff to watch to keep me occupied.

    Wait, this is the BoD...

NOOOO! I want everything now! Mine! MINE MINE MINE!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Second worst feud of the year

    ReplyDelete
  68. I watched it for about the 10th time last year. Such an excellent show.
