Match of the Day

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyJijkFS5eA

Here goes the match that Meltzer was raving about on Sin Limite last night. Clearly in the MOTYC discussion, for those into that kinda stuff.

Comments

  1. If he'd stuck around long enough he was gonna be turned into Spartacus.

  2. BATB looks less like a fruit punch than Beach Blast?

    ReplyDelete
  3. I wish there had been more H.P. Lovecraft / John Carpenter inspired WCW events like that.

    ReplyDelete
  4. You're used to hearing Doug Furnas' name pronounced? I have trouble remembering the poor guy even wrestled.

  5. I'm on my cell say be it's formatting, but I have 0 idea how to read this.

I'm drunk as shit and playing the UFC 360 game. The one bouncer where I work teaches BJJ, I gotta talk to him about that shit.

  7. Furnas' death was particularly awful, because he had apparently died of a heart-related thing (combined with Parkinson's disease) a MONTH before they found his body, which meant that it had decomposed badly.

  8. "Oh noes, they look almost the same and without a storyline I can't like this! Not enough cars and bad acting!!!1"

In before someone actually posts something like that! Great match!

Cameo appearance by Dirty Dutch! as Jerry Lawler enters SuperCena mode to fight off the entire heel roster before doing the J-O-B.

  10. Wade Kellar always pronounced it that way too

    ReplyDelete
  11. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Can't stop laughing at this. Had the last two days off and this is just what I needed to get back in work mode.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Wait... This isn't AAA.
Wrong Sin Limite? There's two wrestling related shows called Sin Limite?
    Ah.

  13. Ishimori's entrance is worth 5 stars on its own.

Whoever voted for "Diva Gifs during live threads" Has extremely good taste.

  15. Ha I think it was like a Sunday afternoon too, so thats seriously how I spent my day. Well worth it though

    ReplyDelete
  16. It amazes me that bookers would let their petty beefs with wrestlers spill over into the booking, never realizing that putting out a shitty product will ultimately lead to them losing their job.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I've been tired of it for a lot longer than I have been letting on... I just believe in giving the people what they want... but I just can't deal with it anymore

    ReplyDelete
  18. Video won't load for me.

Ishimori means that this is from NOAH right?

I read this post in Juvi's voice, making it all the more funny.

  20. Caliber was also responsible for the greatest moment at NPP in the last year. Truly glorious.

Starts there. Runs on about six pages. He has not returned.

  22. "I got a write-in vote, Monsoon!"
    "Yeah, postmarked from 'Beverly Hills.'"
    "My neighbours love me!"
    "I'll bet."

    ReplyDelete
  23. The question I have, due to the voting period, is will "Abeyance hating Asians" have the staying power for people remember to vote for it next year?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Whatever this was suppose to be, its terrible.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I didn't see this, but I'm keeping my original post.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Would that make Mr. Hughes the Sun Beneath the Sea?

  27. - Response to anything Meekin has ever posted

    ReplyDelete
  28. I loved those late night jobber shows too - Velocity, Shotgun Saturday Night, whatever other name it was at whatever time... for a long while my favorite match was Essa Rios vs. Low-Ki. 12 year old Elmo was a big Essa Rios fan.

    ReplyDelete
  29. So did Caliber...win everything?

    ReplyDelete
  30. AverageJoeEverymanMay 14, 2014 at 7:53 AM

If you are running short on time and you need Luger to win a match in less than 30 seconds I would think you would know enough not to use a potential world champ as the fall guy.

    ReplyDelete
  31. He became an asshole and the gimmick died.

    ReplyDelete
  32. He took the ball and ran with it.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Seriously though. this is nothing but a spam post and nothing more. Then Meekin will reply with "See? I knew you loved me." ignoring the fact that what he posts is garbage 99% of the time.

    ReplyDelete
  34. ....and as delusional as Dennis Stamp

    ReplyDelete
  35. Yup the fact that there are what, maybe 20 responses and out of those maybe 3 of them gave serious answers will be lost on him and he will say something to the effect of what you just said because he is so desperate for attention he can't see the legitimacy to the criticism.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I was one of the 3.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Winner!
Probably not, things tend to move fast here. I'm sure something bigger will come up.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Is he still here just under a different name?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Are the NOAH rings bigger than usual, or is it just that these guys are smaller?

It almost looks like there's a couple feet extra per side.

    Great match, though.

  40. The WCW Saturday Night entrance that was a hallway and had pictures on the wall, along with the WWF jukebox are pretty much untouchable to me

    ReplyDelete
  41. But what you see on tv is the same the fans see in the arena. So it shouldn't matter. Your eyes see more than HD, so the screen in the arena should be more than HD even if you tape it with sd cameras. ;-)
