Here is an email I received from Scherer a few hours ago. Since he likes to share our information on Twitter, I thought I would share it here with all of you.
"You can play innocent on Twitter all you want, but you know what you did when posting content from our Elite hotlines was, at worst, a TOS violation. You also know that it hurts our business when you give away content that helps keep our site in business. Unless you are totally clueless, you know why I cut off your subscription."
Via my non-Bayless email, Scherer informed me he was banning my account for posting news bits from the Elite section of the site. I was fine with that then he posts this on Twitter
"It is always nice when I catch a loser who steals our copyrighted content. F U Brian "Bayless" Cullinane. You suck." After that, the floodgates opened and he is getting shitted on via Twitter.
Drunk Hawk falling off the tron was it for all of them, I think. Kind of a crazy way to be written out of a promotion. Not sure who they all pissed off.
I'm tired of WWE's formulaic way of pushing new talent. Every guy they've brought in lately, they have him beat Kofi, Xavier Woods, Sin Cara, R-Truth, Zack Ryder, Santino, Fandango and Titus O'Neil in squash matches that don't do anything for anybody involved. I get the idea of doing it for maybe 3 weeks, but if it's a character they've really committed to doing something with, they should quickly move him onto bigger and better. Not saying Rusev or Bo Dallas or Adam Rose should be in the main event next week, but a competitive 8-minute match with Goldust is gonna do a lot more for them than a 1-minute squash against R-Truth.
make the lower card guys look consistently good against non-factors, and then it suddenly becomes a big deal when 2 undercard guys face each other, b/c they actually have been built to mean something
I would love if the added Bo Dallas into the MitB ladder match and then let him win it. After months of motivational talk he could have a failed cash in and it would totally fit the character. He seems like the right guy for it to happen to.
I was checking out Halloween Havoc 1996 on the Network last night. I was not surprised that there were no chapter markers for Benoit's tag match, but I was surprised that there were also no chapter markers for the Jeff Jarrett vs Giant match.
Does Jarrett receive the full excommunication treatment on the Network too?
I've noticed some random times when there was no markers for, like, a Rey Myterio vs. Chavo Guerrero match. Sometimes it seems like they just slip through the cracks.
So is the idea that every wrestler who doesn't have a manager books their own matches? Or are they told what to do, whereas if you have a manager s/he advocates for you to get matches that are better for you?
I'm not watching right now, but on Rollins attire, I think he's one of those guys who needs to choose one or the other. Either he just goes back to the Tyler Black attire, or he wears the full body suit attire. Going half and half just doesn't seem to clash right.
As a teen I wore the standard 90's hip hop attire. When I went corporate I started going with the casual business look. You got to fully commit to the heel turn. Suckas can't be halfway heel.
It always bugs me when they come up with the main event during the opening interview segment. Usually the match develops via something spontaneous -- e.g. HHH comes out to praise Orton, Roman interrupts HHH, HHH makes Orton-Roman for later tonight -- so I'm then left thinking, "Well, what was the scheduled main event before? What if Roman hadn't interrupted and pissed HHH off? You had this 3-hour show to do and didn't go in with a planned main event?"
I always thought main events should be built similar to boxing matches. Like how Pacman and Mayweather keep arguing about putting the fight together. Why not have Cena and Brock do the same thing?
I mean, if the plan is Brock challenging the champ in August, there are much worse ways to get there. Those worse ways will be how WWE goes, most likely, but my plan sounds more fun.
Honestly, I always loved when the main event of the show was a contract signing or an interview segment, so the wrestling main event alway ended being some random Santino or Divas match.
Before I had assumed that a long stretch of space between red and white marker meant Benoit match. But with the Jarrett match missing that assumption is no longer valid.
and speaking of, there's a fro yo place near my work that actually has hot fudge on tap. toppings like nutter butter cookies. mallow marshmallow topping on tap
Scherer still has beef with Scott. Another Scherer e-mail
"I don't get why anyone with nothing to hide doesn't use their real name. What is the big deal? You didn't want to get caught doing what you know we asked subscribers not to do? You did steal. You know we ask out exclusive stuff does not get passed along. But given where you write, it makes sense.
You were pissed? Amateur hour is you using our exclusive, subscriber only news and posting it on a for profit website.
You know as well as I do people like your buddy Scott will never support me. Since you are young, you probably don't know why. But whatever.
What you did is a principle issue. I do fine, thanks for asking. I own two homes, among other assets. But thanks for your consideration. Work hard and you can get ahead too.
Enjoy the other sites. I know one would have you posted that CM Punk was returning. Ouch.
Cena/Brock for the WWE title Reigns/Orton - if Reigns wins, he gets a match with HHH at the next PPV Rollins/Ambrose - Streetfight Cesaro/a returning Daniel Bryan Sheamus/Bray - US title Bad News Barrett/Ziggler - IC title Harper, Rowan/Ascension/Uso's/Goldust,Stardust - Tag titles Paige/Charlotte - Divas title
OK, so I've been in and out all day and may not be completely up to date here. So, you got banned for violating the TOS. I get that. It sucks, but rules is rules. But what, exactly, brought on the social media attack? Who thinks that's a good idea?
Seriously, Bayless, just remember that you are the bigger man here. Forget about his website and remember that you are the #2 ( possibly 1) draw here. That's all that matters.
Watching the 10/12/98 Raw. Damn the feuds and associations felt random. I didn't at all remember DOA still being around or with Paul Ellering.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're going to have to hold off on your feud with Bayless.
ReplyDeleteA Paul has to be at #1 right?
ReplyDeleteWe ended that amicably after Farva.
ReplyDeleteAlso, it was a work.
After Ellering turned on the LOD he may have shown up on tv a total of 6 times.
ReplyDeletekayfabe wise #1 is JJ Dillon. Who had clients more successful than him? shoot wise it's Heenan

They'll probably pick Heyman. It puts the current product over.
ReplyDeleteI'm lost. What's this about?
ReplyDeleteSend him a picture of Nicole Bass.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't doubt it but he's overrated to me.
ReplyDeleteJeez man, you better lawyer up!
ReplyDeleteWhere/when did Bo Dallas get that black eye?
ReplyDeletehttps://twitter.com/davescherer
ReplyDeleteblocked at the j-o-b-b
ReplyDeleteBayless got cut off from Scherer's paid site, Scherer is a total dick.
ReplyDeleteMan is Fandango lucky.
ReplyDeleteLOL at the fan in the ref shirt going nuts
ReplyDeleteI don't even remember him in that time period at all.
ReplyDeletei am not at the SD taping this evening
ReplyDeletedidn't feel like going
he cut you off!
ReplyDeleteno sexy times for you
That's how I felt with RAW last week.
ReplyDeleteOh noes! Let me guess, you tear the tags off mattresses too?
ReplyDeleteThe Main Event is such an old school-esque booked show.
ReplyDeletei figured since it was a go home show it would be status quo
ReplyDeleteyo
might be some good rasslin', but eh
oftentimes i'd actually experience the crowd reactions, so a fully face ambrose and reigns would be cool
but i was at the rumble, so that'll get me through

just like the dude from pee wee's big adventure
ReplyDeleteDrunk Hawk falling off the tron was it for all of them, I think. Kind of a crazy way to be written out of a promotion. Not sure who they all pissed off.
ReplyDeleteGreat, Detective Scherer will be on the case
ReplyDeletedang man, didn't know it was that serious.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...top 10 managers. Dillon, Heyman, Heenan, Bearer, Gary Hart, Fuji, and Slick as the token....reverend.
ReplyDeleteIt's not his fault that you're a room h he criminal.
ReplyDeleteWhat bout Miss Elizabeth, Teddy Long, Paul Ellering, Kim Chee, and such?
ReplyDeletehe'll be on the mattress
ReplyDeletewith that dog
doing unspeakable things
poor dog

ReplyDeleteEh, I just went with "top of my head" I suppose. Ellering is a good choice. Liz probably gets on there because she's Liz. Sherri too.
ReplyDeletehow did its original incarnation last, where they did profiles of the competitors in the "main event"
ReplyDeleteI know it was storylined.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth wasn't really a manager. She was a valet
ReplyDelete/splitting hairs
He looks unhealthy.
ReplyDeleteAnd creepy.
ReplyDeleteThat was my original thought when I started typing.
ReplyDeleteand TOSsy
ReplyDeleteAnd bestiality...ty.
ReplyDeletePlease make him a jobber on BoD Raw.
ReplyDeleteIt's called lazy booking. Get used to it.
ReplyDeleteWith a dog fetish.
ReplyDeleteis that ken anderson's new gimmick?
ReplyDeletei saw a dude wearing a mr. kennedy shirt today
i wanted to go up to him and be like "KENNEDY
... kennedy"
but he was all big and i was afraid he'd eat me
This is when having a midcard title would be nice.
ReplyDeleteIt's called lazy booking. Deal with it!
ReplyDeleteFTFY
I only watched Big E vs whoever he fought last night. He was so generic. Then he won the match. Then I turned the tv off.
ReplyDeleteHe's totally got a jar of peanut butter out of frame.
ReplyDeletehaving outright jobbers would be nice
ReplyDeletemake the lower card guys look consistently good against non-factors, and then it suddenly becomes a big deal when 2 undercard guys face each other, b/c they actually have been built to mean something
thats what you think
ReplyDeleteI would love if the added Bo Dallas into the MitB ladder match and then let him win it. After months of motivational talk he could have a failed cash in and it would totally fit the character. He seems like the right guy for it to happen to.
ReplyDeleteI don't think having jobbers would fix the issue. The matches are so cookie cutter that they won't get anyone over. They just do matches and go home.
ReplyDeleteKim Chee?
ReplyDeleteBut then you missed his Louie Armstrong impression followed by a Rusev beat down.
ReplyDeleteHave him lose in 1 move in the cash-in match.
ReplyDeleteKamala's "handler"
ReplyDeleteKayfabe-wise, what exactly does a wrestling manager do?
ReplyDeleteSpear!
ReplyDeleteI was checking out Halloween Havoc 1996 on the Network last night. I was not surprised that there were no chapter markers for Benoit's tag match, but I was surprised that there were also no chapter markers for the Jeff Jarrett vs Giant match.
ReplyDeleteDoes Jarrett receive the full excommunication treatment on the Network too?
I know who he is. But on a great managers list?
ReplyDeletedid that happen after the match? I bet that was heatless also
ReplyDeleteAttitude Adjustment!
ReplyDeleteFTFY
Fair point. I agree with you. He was never really a manager.
ReplyDeleteHandles their business like any other agent.
ReplyDeleteCENAWINSLOL
ReplyDeleteThey should put a mask on him and put him with Los Matadores. Call him El Generico.
ReplyDeleteBook clients in the biggest matches for the biggest payoffs
ReplyDeleteI've noticed some random times when there was no markers for, like, a Rey Myterio vs. Chavo Guerrero match. Sometimes it seems like they just slip through the cracks.
ReplyDeleteI don't get it. Got to remember I'm black so you have to spell stuff out for us
ReplyDeletehe was totally-uh
ReplyDeletegettin-uh
an old school-uh
evangelical preacher-uh
thing goin-uh
The Ambrose and Rollins stuff has been great. If we get dean going nuts every week then the breakup was worth it.
ReplyDeleteFrom a character standpoint, he made me laugh. He looked like a bee keeper.
ReplyDeleteD-Von was somewhere shaking his head.
ReplyDeletei actually thought that dvon would fit
ReplyDeleteJust say my name! I want to hear it!
ReplyDeleteA nice 20 minute streetfight is a must.
ReplyDeleteso was d'lo
ReplyDelete/brotherwasbakin'
They called her a manager frequently on TV. They also noted that she handled his bookings and what-not on commentary during MSG matches.
ReplyDeletePOOPYHEAD
ReplyDeleteSo is the idea that every wrestler who doesn't have a manager books their own matches? Or are they told what to do, whereas if you have a manager s/he advocates for you to get matches that are better for you?
ReplyDeleteThat may have just been Gorilla being Gorilla, though.
ReplyDeleteI stand corrected, kind sir
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Preacher Devon's theme.
ReplyDeleteSNME was great, Main Event only had a handful of episodes that were meh except the first one with Hogan/Andre
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think so. You either take care of yourself, or you hire someone to do it for you.
ReplyDeleteI'm not falling for that trap. Homey don't play that.
ReplyDeletedeacon batista
ReplyDeletewonder whatever happened to that guy
Like baseball players and stuff. You want a better contract then get Scott Boras to talk for you. You can negotiate yourself but why would you?
ReplyDeleteRenee is begging to get pounded standing next to Roman.
ReplyDeleteI and I would like for Dean to keep that attire of his.
ReplyDeleteHe did sort of look like a bee keeper.
ReplyDeleteAs long as it isn't Punk anymore.
ReplyDeleteHe's feeling a little blue.
ReplyDeleteRoman Reigns saying, "I'm here to kick it!" made me think of Kid N' Play and early-1990s rap for some reason.
ReplyDeleteHelp their client win matches.
ReplyDeletehope he's able to deal with it
ReplyDeleteshe and i are meeting up after the show
ReplyDeleteYes! A Kane match!
ReplyDeletewhat old school heel would have made the best use of twitter, facebook, etc?
ReplyDeleteSalt 'n Pepa's Wrestlemania XI performance was awkward.
ReplyDeleteDr. D
ReplyDeleteFlair would've made the best use of Tinder.
ReplyDeleteand instragram
ReplyDeleteWOO!
ReplyDeleteI'm not watching right now, but on Rollins attire, I think he's one of those guys who needs to choose one or the other. Either he just goes back to the Tyler Black attire, or he wears the full body suit attire. Going half and half just doesn't seem to clash right.
ReplyDeletenote: wise jalepeno chips are pretty damn hot
ReplyDeleteWasn't so much driving home from work today as it was sailing the waters. Yeesh.
ReplyDeleteWorld Cup party at work tomorrow. Portuguese grub and hooch.
ReplyDeleteJust give him the Tyler Black attire and his old ROH theme.
ReplyDeleteHe'll be full of green soon.
ReplyDeletehe should probably go back to his movie attire. it'll be nice and familiar for mea lot of people
ReplyDeleteYou have a badass job.
ReplyDeletePouring everywhere.
ReplyDeleteAs a teen I wore the standard 90's hip hop attire. When I went corporate I started going with the casual business look. You got to fully commit to the heel turn. Suckas can't be halfway heel.
ReplyDeleteThundering here.
ReplyDelete"sailing the seas of cheese"
ReplyDeleteftfy
In many ways, yes.
ReplyDeletecrap that means it's headed my way
ReplyDeletedammit cleveland
I was playing FPR earlier. It really made me want to get a flash drive and Action Replay so I can have the ROH, WWE, TNA, NJPW rosters.
ReplyDeleteRandy Savage could have had some awesome crazy 15-second Touts.
ReplyDeleteUndertaker could have posted twitter photos of caskets for upcoming victims
Jake Roberts could have psychologically ripped someone to shreds like a teenage cyber-bully.
Rick Rude could have posted photos of all of his conquests.
Honky Tonk Man would have a MySpace page for his songs, or his band, Rhythm & Blues.
You ever heard of newLegacyInc?
ReplyDeletewhat's supposed to be the main event of "Battleground"?
ReplyDeletewe rule
ReplyDelete*top...um...gun handshake*
Nice and sunny here in NYC.
ReplyDeleteCena vs TBA.
ReplyDeleteStay away from my Renee.
ReplyDeleteHow lucky you are.
ReplyDeletebeen seeing some sunny days?
ReplyDeleteCena-Orton to be the face of the WWE.
ReplyDeleteSpoiler alert: "CenaWinsLOL
The weekend is set to be crappy.
ReplyDeleteAre there any fresh matchups left for him? He's faced everyone at least 20 times. shesh
ReplyDeleteIt always bugs me when they come up with the main event during the opening interview segment. Usually the match develops via something spontaneous -- e.g. HHH comes out to praise Orton, Roman interrupts HHH, HHH makes Orton-Roman for later tonight -- so I'm then left thinking, "Well, what was the scheduled main event before? ReplyDelete:top gun handshake:
ReplyDeleteNope.
ReplyDeletealways ends with goose dying
ReplyDeleteSadly, I'd take Cena over Orton right now. Anyone but Orton
ReplyDeleteMiserable. No looks to stop either.
ReplyDeleteWell we haven't seen Orton vs. Cena in about six months. They're overdue.
ReplyDeletebut enough about the upcoming ppv...
ReplyDeleteWatch there 90 FPW WWE vs TNA Brawl for All Tournament, it's pretty entertaining.
ReplyDeleteIt should be BoD War Games.
ReplyDeleteyou do realize that when they come up with the main event in the intro, it's a shoot, right?
ReplyDeleteMan they have everybody made!
ReplyDeleteIt's almost scary.
ReplyDeleteshotgun anus
ReplyDeleteI'd pay a cool $50 for a memory card with all them on it.
ReplyDeleteIf they want to be original, Cena wins at MitB. Paul Heyman challenges Cena with a match against Cesaro at Battleground, Cena accepts.
ReplyDelete#CenaWinsLOL
The repercussions of that match lead to Cena-Brock II at the SummerSlam.
I always thought main events should be built similar to boxing matches. Like how Pacman and Mayweather keep arguing about putting the fight together. Why not have Cena and Brock do the same thing?
ReplyDeleteI'd be cool with that.
ReplyDeletei meant this run
ReplyDeleteback when it started on ion tv. the format was slightly different
If they do that match at SummerSlam, HHH-Reigns and get the world title match right that would be the best show since WM.
ReplyDeleteBig flash of lighting!
ReplyDeleteThe feud must continue!
ReplyDeleteI mean, if the plan is Brock challenging the champ in August, there are much worse ways to get there. Those worse ways will be how WWE goes, most likely, but my plan sounds more fun.
ReplyDeletesid crosby won a lindsay lohan award?
ReplyDeletethat's not the window, brah - you're watching en old ep of wcw thunder
ReplyDeleteI don't do well with spicy stuff. Never have. I can handle a little kick, but that's about it.
ReplyDeleteIs his feud with the Wyatt's done? I'm sure they go the laziest route if Brock is the plan.
ReplyDeleteJerry Lawler. Although it may have gotten him on To Catch a Predator, so maybe that isn't the best use...
ReplyDeletei remember when sd started airing, it was on thursdays, and wcw had to move thunder to wednesdays
ReplyDeleteYou've been banned from AOL?
ReplyDeleteIs AOL still a thing?
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I always loved when the main event of the show was a contract signing or an interview segment, so the wrestling main event alway ended being some random Santino or Divas match.
ReplyDeleteThe chapter markers being absent for Benoit matches are expected, but annoying.
ReplyDeletei see what you sneaked in there, bret
ReplyDeleteHas anyone accidentally been accused of being a jerk to a wrestler on sites like FB and twitter?
ReplyDeletei know there's a BoD'er who was accused of being a loser (not me) who steals copyrighted info
ReplyDeleteBefore I had assumed that a long stretch of space between red and white marker meant Benoit match. But with the Jarrett match missing that assumption is no longer valid.
ReplyDeleteAnd I know one who likes to use DDP Yoga!
ReplyDeleteLimiting Randy Savage to 15 seconds is wrong on many levels.
ReplyDeleteEvery single time I mention the August PPV. Seriously. I've been doing it for YEARS.
ReplyDeleteFirst time anyone mentioned it.
ddp should offer ddp yogurt
ReplyDeleteand speaking of, there's a fro yo place near my work that actually has hot fudge on tap. toppings like nutter butter cookies. mallow marshmallow topping on tap
We can only hope the Wyatt feud is done. But probably not. Cena-Bray in July is likely, too.
ReplyDeleteScherer still has beef with Scott. Another Scherer e-mail
ReplyDelete"I don't get why anyone with nothing to hide doesn't use their real name. What is the big deal? You didn't want to get caught doing what you know we asked subscribers not to do? You know as well as I do people like your buddy Scott will never support me. Since you are young, you probably don't know why. But whatever.
What you did is a principle issue. I do fine, thanks for asking. I own two homes, among other assets. But thanks for your consideration. Work hard and you can get ahead too.
Enjoy the other sites. I know one would have you posted that CM Punk was returning. Ouch.
True, but he may have created an artform on Tout.
ReplyDelete" I own two homes, among other assets."
ReplyDeleteofficially a douchebag!
and seriously, you have a pay for newspaper. they don't come after you if you mention an article in there
ReplyDeleteShall we all hitch a ride together, go to his neighborhood to make it a 1 on 500 handicap match?
ReplyDeletewhich neighborhood?
ReplyDeletehe has TWO homes, remember?
So my dream Summerslam card for this year
ReplyDeleteCena/Brock for the WWE title
Reigns/Orton - if Reigns wins, he gets a match with HHH at the next PPV
Rollins/Ambrose - Streetfight
Cesaro/a returning Daniel Bryan
Sheamus/Bray - US title
Bad News Barrett/Ziggler - IC title
Harper, Rowan/Ascension/Uso's/Goldust,Stardust - Tag titles
Paige/Charlotte - Divas title
250 waiting at each one.
ReplyDeletewas this one unsolicited? like, he decided to reply to something he'd already replied to?
ReplyDeleteNumber 2 manager of all time - The Brood
ReplyDeleteThat sounds great, which means WWE will never do it.
ReplyDeleteAlways.
ReplyDeletespeaking of ascension, i'm amused that bran still does the ringpost "me so dark and scary!" pose in tna
ReplyDeleteHe is such an asshole that I am going to link together the whole email saga.
ReplyDeleteI never interacted with someone so unlikable as him.
OK, so I've been in and out all day and may not be completely up to date here. So, you got banned for violating the TOS. I get that. It sucks, but rules is rules. But what, exactly, brought on the social media attack? Who thinks that's a good idea?
ReplyDelete"I never interacted with someone so unlikable as him."
ReplyDeletesweet, everything's coming up buck nasty!
We have one on Thursday. I am going to go and root against the USA
ReplyDeleteSeriously, Bayless, just remember that you are the bigger man here. Forget about his website and remember that you are the #2 ( possibly 1) draw here. That's all that matters.
ReplyDeleteShould I pay $25 for the latest NJPW iPPV? I really want to see it after reading the results. Does anyone know if uStream works fine on Kindle Fire's?
ReplyDeletescherer actually called out bayless on twitter under his real name, insulting him in the process
ReplyDeleteThe futures looking bright.
ReplyDeletegood thing i have these shades
ReplyDeleteHe broke kayfabe.
ReplyDelete
