Tonight on the WWE Network: a replay of Payback 2014, which overall was a decent show. Check it out again, or watch it for the first time if you missed it. Also, some of you may want to get together and decide on another show to watch.
The NHL Stanley Cup Finals get under way tonight, with the NY Rangers facing the LA Kings.
There's a full slate of MLB action.
Decent turn out last night. Even Brian Bayless showed up.

ReplyDeleteI know it is old news, but this is awesome
The name drop was cute but how about getting to posting the Daily Update. I'm waiting
ReplyDeleteI would Brian, but my factual sources tell me there is no news worth reporting. Only conjecture, and that's not news.
ReplyDeleteNeville vs. Kidd was very good. A little lackluster on storytelling, but a lot of incredible spots and counters. Also, they sold well, which made the high-spots feel more important. It would have been a great match if they got the crowd invested into it.
ReplyDeleteFuck yeah I cried.
ReplyDeleteAnother night, another Yankees game. After that loss last night, not sure how much I can take. I might just pop Lego Batman 2 into the PS Vita and give it a whirl.
ReplyDeleteThose multi-millionaire contracts are surely paying off.
ReplyDeleteSox-Indians in a rain delay. I'm running Jays-Tigers. I hate Toronto.
ReplyDeleteLike every team in baseball?
ReplyDeleteYou're comparing the Yankees to every team? Lol.
ReplyDeleteHow is the Vita?
ReplyDeleteBlah, blah, blah I am too lazy do to the daily update. Maybe you should steal it from me tomorrow morning and post it in this bullshit thread
ReplyDeleteSunday's loss too... waste of two games.
ReplyDeleteEvery team in baseball has the ability to spend more to make their teams better. The Steinbrenner family decides to do this. Other owners decide to pocket a lot more money. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
ReplyDeleteIt's not like the Yankees are the early-90s Mets.
Stanley Cup Game 1 about to start, well after the 20 minutes of intros....
ReplyDeleteDo I need to separate you two?
ReplyDeleteLmao, are you serious? That's so bogus, you know it.
ReplyDeleteWhat did I say that was untrue?
ReplyDeleteYou believe most teams could spend the amount of money that the Yankees can.....
ReplyDeleteCOULD spend, but WON'T spend.
ReplyDeleteOkay, but they don't nearly have the amount of money the Yankees do.
ReplyDeleteWhy are people praising Jason Kidd so much for this year as a coach? He was literally almost fired and they got into the playoffs in a very weak Eastern Conference.
ReplyDeleteI never said that they did.
ReplyDeleteHe runs the shittiest plays off of timeouts.
ReplyDeleteGuy can't even hold on to his soda.
ReplyDeleteWho the hell in praising Jason Kidd? Jay Z would be better off coaching the team.
ReplyDeleteI like it. I'm slowly building up a collection of games I can pick up and play if I'm traveling or when I'm watching something on TV. Baseball, Injustice, stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a vast improvement on the PSP.
The quacks on ESPN because they were discussing Fisher and mentioned Kidd's "successful" transition.
ReplyDeleteThey are selling a PS4/Vita combo bundle for like $550 I think later this month.
ReplyDeleteHe always played nice with the media, so he has plenty of goodwill to spend with the ESPN's and yahoo sports of the world.
ReplyDeleteLet's Go Rangers!
ReplyDelete4-0
ReplyDeleteWife beaters are well-respected people.
ReplyDeleteSomeone actually put him in 3rd place on their NBA coach of the year ballot.
ReplyDeleteYeah, buying the Vita was an advance plan on getting a PS4 eventually. I still have some PS3 games I want to beat first, and I'm planning on using the PS3 for trade-in on the PS4.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the A's win again.
ReplyDeleteI have a Yellow lighted PS3 that I'm debating on sending in for repair for $80.
ReplyDeleteWho was number one on their list: Eric Spoelstra?
ReplyDeleteIt's not looking good for your heroes right now. Although, the Yankees have been shitting the bed the last couple weeks. I wouldn't put it past them to blow the (now) 4-1 lead.
ReplyDeleteI'm ready. And with no favorite (Again, FUCK YOU SHARKS.), I can just enjoy the game.
ReplyDelete"Even Brian Bayless showed up."
ReplyDeleteLE TAG~
i posted an item that said the rollins heel turn had been planned for about 4 weeks, yet wasn't written into the raw script (the cena/kane match was the final segment)
ReplyDeletedid you just turn heel?
ReplyDeleteFIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!
ReplyDeleteThe Substitute teacher of the BoD, ladies and gentleman
ReplyDeleteWho did you piss off to keep getting downvoted.....not that it matters.
ReplyDeleteHeat in 6 games. They lose tonight and win 4 out of the next 5
ReplyDeleteI'm in a baseball movie watching mood. Which one should I watch later tonight...Moneyball or Major League? Seen both multiple times. Hmm.
ReplyDeletethe old "monday night raw" model, i see
ReplyDeleteGame 1 tomorrow....
ReplyDeleteWho did any of us piss off to get the downvotes? I swear it's a random pick every day.
ReplyDeleteNaked Gun. It passes as a baseball movie
ReplyDeleteRemember how Stranger was talking shit about Bayless' mama?
ReplyDeletefcuk. Man, the days just all run together.
ReplyDeleteMoneyball.
ReplyDeleteTuesday and Wednesday are garbage.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Moneyball, but I see the Blu-Ray on sale at Best Buy all the time. Worth picking up?
ReplyDeleteWhat's up bud? Dog any better?
ReplyDeleteOh yes. GREAT baseball movie.
ReplyDeleteTough call. Might have to coin flip it, there's no way to decide between the two.
ReplyDeleteMajor League or GTFO
ReplyDeleteIt's been a very nice couple of weeks here, weather wise.
ReplyDeleteThat is all.
I could see a Heat play going like this -
ReplyDeleteErik Spoelstra draws out a complex play.
Lebron whispers in Chalmers' ear: "Just inbound it to me."
Lebron makes a jump shoot over two defenders.
Spoelstra: That's how you ad lib! Way to realize the defense smelt it out and change it on the fly!
She's better
ReplyDeleteGotta exam next week,medieval.
Kojima lost the NWA title to Conway.
Amen. Can't remember anything eventful happening on a Tuesday in the springtime. Just a craptastic day
ReplyDeleteI don't understand Baseball,but I enjoyed.
ReplyDeleteThat's good to hear.
ReplyDeleteAnother exam?! Seems like you have a lot of them. Yeah I saw Conway won it back, ugh. The NWA/NJPW working agreement has been bad.
I'm going to have to agree with my esteemed colleague here.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, I quite enjoy watching the cable censored version of Major League for some reason. "Strike this mother (pause) out!"
GO CAROLINA!!!
ReplyDeleteSomeone who hates Nas, I guess.
ReplyDeleteBULL FLIPPIN SPIT!
ReplyDeleteThe Heat actually run a lot of complex sets. It's not just Wade and Lebron going 1 on 5 like it used to be. I think they respect him enough now to run the stuff instead of going on their own.
ReplyDeleteYou don't understand baseball? I don't understand this.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised Jay Z didn't try coaching the team. I guess by then he'd already decided to ruin sports in another way.
ReplyDeleteYeah, another one. That's the first stage,I'll get another ones in july.
ReplyDeleteNWA/NJPW has been a mess,I like Tharpe but he needs to bring better wrestlers, how about Colt Cab....
Put it on a video podcast!
ReplyDeleteHe is in the Taliban
ReplyDeleteWhy can't he go away? Who keeps propping this dude up as someone important in 2014?
ReplyDeleteI'd prefer the Kings win because Gaborik's awesome.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever thought of reviewing ROH shows?you look like a guy that watches regularly.
ReplyDeleteHey, I need a i-thing to use an "app", right?
ReplyDeleteYou mean porn?
ReplyDeleteGO CAOLINA! DEFEAT OPPOSING SPORTSBALL TEAM!
ReplyDeleteNot a popular sport in here.
ReplyDeleteUm, Baseball's not exactly huge in Brazil, last I checked.
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched ROH regularly since 2008
ReplyDelete:: Sigh ::
ReplyDeleteSigh. I KNOW THAT! No one has a sense of humor and/or whimsy here tonight.
ReplyDeleteIt's acceptable for a TV edit. But I own the DVDs for when I want to see the real thing.
ReplyDeleteEasiest call ever. Major league
ReplyDeleteNo, seriously.
ReplyDeleteI tried hockey during it's mid-90s heyday. Liked the intensity of the Red Wings-Avs rivalry but could never get into it full-time
ReplyDeleteIt blows
ReplyDeleteOh, I do, too. I watch it pretty frequently, too. I'm just saying, I don't get frustrated with Major League on TV like I do with other movies.
ReplyDeleteYou,Farva,Bayless and Hoss should form the BoD's Senior Citizen Club.
ReplyDeleteI guess that makes you the full time teacher who's too drunk to come out of the teacher's lounge.
ReplyDeleteAnd now for the opposing viewpoint...
ReplyDeleteLast year's cup was one that would've made you a fan again. I don't think this one will be worth really watching.
ReplyDelete(sigh... ) Save it for the NFL, when Carolina has a good team.
ReplyDeleteLOL... especially since I think I am older than all of them except Hoss
ReplyDeleteTerrible book. The movie stinks. The premise is false.
ReplyDeleteFor serious? I can like to iTunes or whatever and install on a Windows PC?
ReplyDeleteThere is a Carolina hockey team?
ReplyDeleteI actually watched the last few minutes of the Blackhawks win. IIRC, they scored two goals in the last two minutes or something like that right? Very exciting contest, of what I watched.
ReplyDeleteThat is a rough sentence to get through. But yes you can create a podcast on a Windows computer and get it into iTunes
ReplyDeleteHurricanes. They weren't as awful as I thought they were, but they missed the playoffs. It's almost as bad as an NBA team missing the playoffs in the East.
ReplyDeleteIf could recommend a show,I would suggest PWG's Mystery Vortex 2,some nice matches and a fun intergender main event for the PWG title.
ReplyDeletePWG is pretty fun.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I forgot a word or 2.
ReplyDeleteThat's not what I mean. I mean "apps"
..nevermind, I have no idea how to get this across properly. I'll just have to continue my research.
North Carolina or South Carolina? I legit had no idea
ReplyDeleteI put a really large sum on the Heat+120 for the series. If they don't win, it's going to be hard for me to gamble for a while. If they win, I'm throwing a party and everyone's invited.
ReplyDeleteYou can listen to podcasts on your computer, using iTunes without needing a device, yes.
ReplyDeleteRaleigh, NC. They won the Cup back in 2006.
ReplyDeleteYou and Abeyance1 should form a tag team being two of the younger guys here...oh yeah you already did and it crumbled like a loaf of cheap bread
ReplyDeleteSpurs are favorite right? Not a bad gamble at all
ReplyDeleteANYONE but Conway, Wes Brisco, and Big Daddy Yum Yum
ReplyDeleteDamn... shows what I know... and how popular they are.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a great movie.
ReplyDeleteI'm off podcasts now. I already learned that.
ReplyDeleteI really though that I was making sense here, but you all seem to think that I'm not.
Thank you for your time.
Adam Cole is way better there,he can flex his comedy skills.
ReplyDeleteSo got the Brewers-Twins game on one tv and the Cup Finals on the other. Don't really "like" either team, but going to try to just enjoy good finals hockey regardless and be impartial.
ReplyDeleteWell,call Johnny Gargano.
ReplyDeleteYou're wondering about using apps on a computer?
ReplyDeleteI hate it so much. Such bullshit
ReplyDeleteIf you are an Oakland fan I can see why you are not a fan of Moneyball
ReplyDeleteYes. I'm pretty sure that I need a thingy, but I was wrong about podcasts, so worth asking.
ReplyDeleteNote that I am not asking about podcasts, which I am now aware that i can listen to, or WATCH (getthefuckouttatown) on a PC.
Ah, yeah, that explains it. I was about to ask...
ReplyDeleteA lot of people think Spurs should have won last year + they are better this year = they will win. However, Wade wasn't fully healthy last year. In fact, Spurs outscored the Heat by like 50 when he was on the court. Parker is a huge question mark. Sprained ankles don't take 4 days to heal, so he'll be playing with a numbed ankle.
ReplyDeleteSo apparently G1 climax finals are gonna be in a Stadium.
ReplyDeleteI love both, 42 and 61 are regular watches of mine as well.
ReplyDeleteThey have great tag team names.
ReplyDeleteI love the movie, well worth it in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI'd like hockey more if I ever actually played it. Hard to get into a sport you've never participated in.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes, for the most part, apps are meant for mobile devices. Although the new Windows operating system has more of an "app" feel with its home screen.
ReplyDeleteYou changed your answer.
ReplyDeleteThey just ran their last show there when Styles retained over Okada.
ReplyDeleteIt also has a "punch yourself in the dick all day" feel if you use it regularly
ReplyDeleteSpurs aren't a one or two person team so the Parker injury won't affect much. The question is how much gas does LeBron have to go at them cause the Heat's beat is turrible
ReplyDeleteNo,it's another.
ReplyDeleteYeah, there's a lot of trannies there I heard and they don't like baseball too much.
ReplyDeleteNo... I didn't
ReplyDeleteWell, I was trying not to scare him away!
ReplyDeleteBoy do I hate windows 8
ReplyDeleteThat tranny thing is a lie.Where you took that from?
ReplyDeleteProbably part of why I like it so much, played from 3 years old until I was 18.
ReplyDeleteI don't get the hate for 8. I just surf the web but still
ReplyDeleteOh. I missed it on first go-round then.
ReplyDelete"I'm just bieng honest!" /spoiledbratnomannershavingmillenial
ReplyDeleteI mean Patty Mills is a great PG too. Still, I rather have a healthy Parker out there if I were the Spurs.
ReplyDeleteHey... that rhymes!
ReplyDeleteAh, you are correct. Seibu Dome looks awesome from the pictures.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I go straight to the desktop and ignore the other shit. Doing it like that, I have no problems.
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm cool with Windows. I've been on Windows since 286.
ReplyDeleteBest Detective on the Law and Order Franchise? Mine is Robert Goren.
ReplyDeleteHangover 2
ReplyDeleteJesus how fucking old are you?
ReplyDeleteIt's ability to get in the lane got them by Dallas. The Heat don't have a rim protector so that could turn out to be huge.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope they stack that card.
ReplyDeleteIshii or Ibushi winning please.
Elliot Stabler.
ReplyDeleteThe Sandlot!!!
ReplyDeleteThey act like the team won 5 out of 6 al west belts because Billy Beane invented using obp etc and found all these scrappy bargain basement players. Especially the book. That's such a fake storyline about that team
ReplyDeleteNo, Stabler is the one most likely to snap and kill someone.
ReplyDeleteThat movie is Thailand.
ReplyDeleteIshii winning it would make the place go bananas.
ReplyDeleteAnyone catch Chikara "You Only Live Twice" over the weekend?
ReplyDeleteHe's my favorite along Fin.
ReplyDeleteI found an app in 8.1 to get the classic start menu back so it's gravy for me.
ReplyDeletelol you call them belts, too?
ReplyDeleteSo Justin Bieber has made tons of racist comments when he was 14, and they are all coming out now. I swear, there's something fishy about this stuff.
ReplyDeleteSame thing.
ReplyDeleteMunch or GTFO
ReplyDeleteI downloaded,gonna watch this weekend.
ReplyDeleteSterling did it first!
ReplyDeleteMunch=conspiracy theorist.
ReplyDeleteDamn the man! Save the Empire!
ReplyDeleteYes. I know. That's what makes him fun.
ReplyDeleteAnd then winning the IWGP title, book it Jado & Gedo, wanna redeem yourselfs of the Gracie Stuff.
ReplyDeleteAlways favored Briscoe and the black guy. Liked that they kept a sense of humor and didn't take it all so seriously. Goren just became too much in the later seasons.
ReplyDeleteStabler is awesome too though.
ReplyDeleteThe old dude for sure
ReplyDeleteIshii beating AJ for the belt would cause a HUGE ovation.
ReplyDeleteThe fatter he got the worse he got. I definitely prefer him in the earlier seasons.
ReplyDeleteBrisco and whatever Jesse L. martins characters name were me favorite from the original Law and order.
1-Stabler
ReplyDelete2-Fin
3-Briscoe
4-Kragen
5-Olivia
I know they changed the format but is it still 2-3-2 for this year?
ReplyDeleteThe Sterling stuff amazes me. Guy is secretly recorded making racist remarks, the league bans him and forces him to sell, now he is $2 BILLION richer. Looks like he won.
ReplyDeleteOlivia has been awful this season.
ReplyDeletePorn and the news
ReplyDeleteIshii hits the brainbuster 1..2.no,he then goes "fuck you" mode SSD 1..2..3,New champion!
ReplyDeleteSHOCKED. He seems like such a great person.
ReplyDelete2-2-1-1-1.
ReplyDeleteBut he doesn't own the glorious Clippers anymore . . .
ReplyDeleteThis year-old laptop has Windows 8, I just put the Desktop on the "Start Menu" and do all my stuff off of there. I don't mind the "app" feel it has, just prefer the "older school" feel of a good Desktop.
ReplyDeleteSo it'll be over by September, right?
ReplyDeleteOlivia worked because she had Elliot with him,he was her perfect foil.
ReplyDeleteThey should make him give back the 2 billion. The dude is loaded as hell and the one girl he chooses as his main mistress looks like an alien.
ReplyDeleteThey're trying to give her emotional storylines and it's annoying as hell.
ReplyDelete*facepalm*
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure that you already know that.
ReplyDeleteI was on computers early. My Dad had me coding in BASIC when I was like 8 or 9.
Didn't the wife legally wrangle the money away?
ReplyDeleteDude wants his team. Without that team, my guess is he dies in the next few months.
ReplyDelete
