Network question

Scott,

Do you (or anyone on the blog, for that matter) know of a way to list *all* programming for a federation by date?

For example, let's say I want to watch all WCW programming.  What I've been doing is watching the Clash episodes, then checking the PPV page for when a ppv comes in between a clash episode and then watching it.  It seems rather inefficient, and I wonder if I'm just missing a feature somewhere to sort all programming by date.

How awesome would it be to have a playlist that played all the programming by date - raws mixed in with smackdowns and heat and ppvs?  There *has* to be a way to do this that I'm missing, right?

Afraid not.  We're basically still using the beta testing version of the Network, and that's not one of the things you can do with it yet.

I still want a random button on the Network.

  2. A playlist would be better if you could pick out various matches. I'm not doing a playlist of three hour PPVs but if I want to say...watch the best technical matches ever? I would love to be able to pick and choose the matches and watch them back to back.

These are the kinds of features, in all honesty, that they need to add. Not because I'm selfish (although I am), but because when you're trying to change an entire business model based on one product, you should really do as much as you can to bolster that product. It makes you wonder why they didn't do beta testing with geeks like us.

  3. I've got a sheet with all the PPVs from ECW, WCW, and WWE, Clashes and SNMEs listed in order. So I could possibly send that to whoever asked this question or later tonight post it on google docs or something like that.

  4. Yes I am a nerd, thank you!

  5. I feel like that would make things so much easier. Sometimes, I'll do a "Close my eyes and shift back and forth" for both the PPV and the Year.

  6. That's why I like the live feed. I kinda wish Netflix and/or Hulu would adopt the live feed concept. I spend 20 minutes trying to decide what to watch before just watching that same season of the Office again.

It seems crazy that they don't have this..

Watching things in chronological order is a bit of a must for me.

  8. I mean, you can still do that even though a machine isn't making the playlist for you.

  9. I'm surprised WWE themselves don't have set playlists for great feuds and angles.

  10. I guess my viewing habits are different but I rarely watch a whole ppv and like skipping around and watching random matches. I don't feel like we're ever going to get a magic playlist where everything's in order and don't really feel like we need it.

  11. If you watch a clash they always hype the next ppv so it's not hard to figure out what's next.

  12. After one google search, here is the list of wcw ppv's with clashes included. http://ukff.com/lofiversion/index.php/t125454.html

  13. A random button would be so much fun. You could come up with anything from King of the Ring 95 to WM X-7.

  14. Knowing the WWE, a random button would take you to whatever non-random video they would want you to see.

  15. In many cases, it's the little things that keep subscribers happy. Being able to watch whatever you want at any time sounds awesome, but it's often overwhelming to the viewer.

  16. It's obvious he means Season 8.

  17. I only remember a dark time between season 7 and season 9.

  18. My brain would short circuit if I didn't have a plan when it came to what I'm watching on the network.

  19. Hell, a "Recently Added" feature would be fantastic, as opposed to drilling down into the content all the time hoping that something new had been added.

  20. I enjoy being able to just skip to the end of certain matches. Do I really need to watch a 20-minute Outsiders match to get to a schmozz ending?

  21. The one thing I would like is the ability to watch on one device and then when I go to another be able to resume where I left off.

  22. Someone on Reddit created a wiki for this. It lists all content by fed, chronological order, and Wrestler

  23. Of all the complaints I've read on here about the Network, this clearly has to be at the bottom of the list.
