Itami needs to play the role of Kim Jeong to Finn's crazy bastard, and I think the dynamic works. Otherwise I fear Itami is going to get overhadowed by Balor's rising star power.
Itami is nearing a lost cause to me already. He looks so small and underdeveloped physically. He's not getting to showcase his offense and I don't see that improving if/when he gets promoted. And the odds were extremely stacked against him to start with. At best, he looks like a future jobber to me
Itami would work wonders if the company had a legitimate Cruiserweight Division, or something approaching a midcard title designed for technical wrestlers (like the old Ring of Honor Pure Championship). Since that is never going to happen, I think he's ceiling is the Intercontinental Title, if that... which back in the day would've been totally respectable. Nowadays, I fear for him.
Something could probably be said for the fact that he's wrestling in a country where he barely speaks the language, and is competing against men that are generally bigger than he is (I think his biggest mark in Japan was against people roughly his size). It's natural to take some time to adapt, but he does have some charisma and his English is getting better every week. I hope he pans out in some capacity.
I'll be the first to admit, I'm a monstrous Prince Devitt mark. There's a group of fans who thought his entrance was stupid, a group that thought it was kinda cool, and a group that thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. I'm definitely biased as all fuck, and I wound up showing that entrance to like six of my friends today. It feels like they're going all in on guys like Zayn, Balor, even Owens. It's awesome to feel actual hope for wrestling, even if it's just NXT.
Rey I BO LIEVE in, but I thought Bryan wouldn't even last a year because WWE would fuck him over. And while they did try (Daniel Wyatt), eventually he got maybe the greatest feel good ending in Mania history, which would put it among the best ever. Not bad.
Rey Mysterio is a great comparison for Itami, though I think Rey had two natural advantages: his mask gave him a marketing hook that also made him a cool guy to follow, and he's far more articulate than Itami. I think they need to tinker with Itami's look a bit to help him out, because compared to Balor he's going to look plain as Hell.
She was the reason I didn't get into the show until halfway through, never liked her (she was borderline intolerable in Baby Mama). That said, the show definitely turned my opinion on her, playing a sunny, optimistic character fit her really well, she was basically a grown up Lisa Simpson.
True, and I didn't even mean in a "anybody but her" way, I'd still have her on the show just not the center....though I would have had Offerman front and center all the time so who knows if that'd maintain long run interest
File this away under the "in my dreams" category, but I would absolutely kill for the WWE to run this underground-style Network special on a Saturday night from the Manhattan Center, where they do a competition pitting NXTers against main roster guys, with an eyes towards people who can work. So throw people in like Itami, Balor, Zayn, Owens, Neville, Kidd, and Breeze or a special surprise like William Regal against a squad of middle-low tier WWE guys: Kofi, Cesaro, Big E, Justin Gabriel, Dolph Ziggler, Jey and Jimmy Uso. Best of Seven for bragging rights to give the WWE guys something to do while the NXT guys get huge exposure.
I'm the exact opposite. I don't want them to grow it or do anything to it; just leave it in its own little bubble of awesomeness, so that Dunn and Vince stay as far the fuck away from it as possible. Whatever they're doing now is the antithesis to Raw and SmackDown, and I like it.
Baron Corbin or Adrian Neville, most likely Corbin. I don't think they'll use someone high up on the NXT rung, but if they do I'd wager Neville in his promotion.
At what point did the locker room become Taker's yard? We heard nary a peep during the whole Shawn/Bret thing. Then all of a sudden he's the backstage judge making sure business is done the right way. Man, please.
I get the gist that NXT is a smark crowd, by and large (notice the boos Reigns got last night). I worry people may chant Punk on the main stage if he does it there. At least for the first few weeks / months until they establish it as HIS move.
Now that we're free of those "Raw's great!" types, I'm finding myself feeling very positive about wrestling. NXT, Lucha Underground, the January 4th New Japan PPV. Lots of great stuff around right now.
if I was a wrestler, wearing the mask would be awesome. I could go out in public and no one would notice. Instead of a mask, i could just work for tna and still not be noticed.
I tried to watch Flair jr vs Snoop Dogg's cousin on youtube this morning but they only had the four minute clip version posted. As someone that has zero respect for diva's matches, I have to say I was thoroughly impressed.
The should do a vignette portraying him as the innovator of these devastating finishers. You know, if anyone knows how to use it it's him, that sort of thing.
Shouldn't he be opposed to doing charity? Shouldn't he be telling them to instead pick themselves up by their bootstraps and increase their individual worth by using their labor to provide for themselves as individuals?
In the update thread he planned to start a flame war, which you could tell by his very first post, and it went back and forth and at one point he said that RAW was supposed to be mediocre, got a lot of shit for that, then left.
I don't think he has a single one of those opinions. He's just trolling. If he actually did have real opinions he did a poor job of articulating them. I kind of liked Vince, but if he's going to post that much he either has to drop the gimmick or work in new material imo.
Just finished Game of Thrones Season 4. Didn't really like it to be honest. Easily my least favorite season. None of the big moments landed and I'm finding the number of characters I care about is dangling on the precipice of not enough.
VJ just tries to start fights. That is all he does. Look at yesterday's thread, it was transparent. He went off on people being negative and was the only one posting.
There were times where he did a good job of pointing out when people were so quick to jump off the ledge. And he does make a good point that people act like WWE is more painful than passing a kidney stone yet are there every Monday for three hours of RAW.
The first season started slow but really picked up. I loved Seasons 2 & 3 but Season 4 just never got going. Even the big moments(moments I waited years for lacked the punch.
My favorite part of Season 4 was the Adventures of Hound & Arya.
Yeah I read them all a few years ago after the first season because I dug the show so much. Honestly its annoying to me that the guy never finished the next book and has kind of soured me to the whole thing.
The direction and acting is fine. It's the plot and the characters really. I just found myself a little bored with what was happening this season. I didn't feel as invested as I was the first 3 seasons. Even the big ninth episode was good but not nearly as "Holy Shit wow" as the first 3 seasons.
It wasn't bad, but not nearly up to the standards of the first 3 and it felt a little plain.
Well I really don't remember him doing much more than trolling and making generalizations and taking down straw man arguments. This is open forum and people can do and say what they want but of course almost no one is going to like you when that's 85% of your posts. I thought he was funny, and he held the gimmick up for some long you have to commend that, but yeah he was obviously trolling and having fun with it. I don't know why yesterday was it for him, but he probably just figured he didn't want to troll for awhile.
Guy's really taking his time ain't he? They're gonna have to slow down and give him time to finish or make up their own shit. That fat bastards gonna check out before he's done writing it.
But I mean come on the ending is obvious anyways. It's gonna end with every single character dead.
He's okay when he actually makes points, even if I think said points are the inane ramblings of a mental hospital "regular".
It's when he goes into "STUPID FUCKING CATCHPHRASE! HIVE MIND!" territory that his usefulness goes away quickly. Mainly because he has poor comedic timing, and overuses his pet favorites. ("BURIED! EVERYTHING SUCKS!")
I enjoy that Vince Jordan likes what most people here dislike so he is a troll... and the guy who wrote the Steen/Generico post disliked what everyone else liked so he is a dumb ass. One of the biggest complaints NPP used to make about the BoD was that it was a Hivemind... lately they have been proven somewhat right.
I assume most people are talking about worst in the world when they say that. He's one of my favorite posters to talk to because he loves to discuss wrestling. And its even funnier that people are now mad at him for being too anti wwe because me and him used to argue all the time about the WWE and he was one of the most positive posters here by far.
If you read yesterday's update thread from oldest to newest, he talked about meltdowns, when no one else was melting down, for like the first ten posts and got others to bicker as a result and then it spiraled downhill from there. He went on and on about people melting down, when no one did, which is ironic coming from him.
It's a gimmick troll account and I believe a regular poster here is doing it but cant put my finger on who it is yet.
Well the worst part is that he has another one after this book to pump out too. Like do I really want to bother reading his books when the TV show will have been done for years? And it feels like his shit is more a Disney type cash grab now, which is what it is, but I don't really like that kind of stuff in my fiction.
Its not Netflix. But southpark studios has almost all the episodes (just the ones with Mohammed in it are missing I think but you can find those on youtube)
It's a forum attached to a blog by Scott Keith. Of course the majority will have similar opinions. Everyone's been really positive the last 24hrs - no mean feat, no bad thing.
Worst also makes actual points, and BACKS THEM UP with examples. I might not agree with the point, but I definitely can see where he's coming from, and follow the logic involved.
Depending on your stance on book vs HBO, could be worse. HBO already has the treatment and knows the major beats so as soon as they catch him, they'll be writing the ending for him so to speak
I don't have a strong book vs. show stance. Reading the first book it seems like the first season was a pretty loyal adaptation.
I guess since I'm into the show already I prefer it to the books. The first books been a little hard to read because I already know what happened so reading 1700 pages is harder to push through.
Roman Reigns isn't even over enough to have a backlash. He's leftover meatloaf. If that's what your serving people will eat it, but no one is going to get too excited about it either.
I think there is potential for more story to tell but it felt like they purposely dragged on in places. Plus, it really depends on your enjoyment of the different characters. I don't care about Ms. Dragon born Targaryn or Bran so episodes that featured them dragged.
Huh, day time meltdowns again? We should really plan for the shit to hit the fan during prime time some evening for those that can't get away during the 9-5
Yeah I don't the backlash against shitting on the product. Like I've been reading scotts stuff for 3 decades now. Its his blog. Of course its an open forum for discussion but I'm not going to go to a Lakers game and wonder why no one is playing baseball.
I think it really is good. It doesn't affect me any with the move. I still get to watch Impact. Plus, now they have an immediate replay that airs right after the initial airing and they have a Saturday morning airing of it too. Destination America seems on board with helping TNA grow.
Did we really need 7 years of Picard being a moral authority, or Data trying to become more human? Or Riker trying to break Kirk's inter species relations record?
Or the Seinfeld crew being assholes and jerks?
Or Tony Soprano killing his way to the top and holding on?
Or Carrie Bradshaw figuring out her life after fucking hundreds of guys?
I want so sub to either Hulu or Netflix. I'd like Hulu for the shows but I'd like Netflix for the shows and movies. Anyone have both and would recommend one over the other?
ECCCCHOOO!

ReplyDeleteItami needs to play the role of Kim Jeong to Finn's crazy bastard, and I think the dynamic works. Otherwise I fear Itami is going to get overhadowed by Balor's rising star power.
Heh, that dolphin had some amazing adventures.
ReplyDeleteI think Itami would sink on his own right now.
ReplyDeleteI hated that game
ReplyDeleteItami is nearing a lost cause to me already. He looks so small and underdeveloped physically. He's not getting to showcase his offense and I don't see that improving if/when he gets promoted. And the odds were extremely stacked against him to start with. At best, he looks like a future jobber to me
ReplyDeleteJust four more work days left and then a vacation for 11 days and I can get some serious Mario kart time in.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a lost foreign exchange student.
ReplyDeleteItami would work wonders if the company had a legitimate Cruiserweight Division, or something approaching a midcard title designed for technical wrestlers (like the old Ring of Honor Pure Championship). Since that is never going to happen, I think he's ceiling is the Intercontinental Title, if that... which back in the day would've been totally respectable. Nowadays, I fear for him.

ReplyDeleteI have played easier games.
ReplyDeleteFinn's new shirt is the tits. Here's to hoping for Balor/Zayn after Zayn/Owens.
ReplyDeleteParks and Rec wrapped it up ;_;
ReplyDeletehttp://tvline.com/2014/12/12/parks-and-recreation-series-finale-filming/
You think that was the tits, you should've seen Chris Hero in a shirt
ReplyDeleteSmackdowns future #1 announcer?
ReplyDeleteI've had him on superhero/adventuring teams on random internet threads.
ReplyDeleteHard as hell and gave me motion sickness. Wouldn't have it any other way
ReplyDeleteHeading out to a "going away" dinner for a few of the guys from my old work crew tonight. Bring on the food!
ReplyDeleteFEED ME MORE
ReplyDeleteI'll be the first to admit, I'm a monstrous Prince Devitt mark.
ReplyDeleteHe's no Seaman.
ReplyDeletewhen Bryan first came to WWE, I thought he wouldnt make it due to his size. Same with Rey
ReplyDeleteRey I BO LIEVE in, but I thought Bryan wouldn't even last a year because WWE would fuck him over. And while they did try (Daniel Wyatt), eventually he got maybe the greatest feel good ending in Mania history, which would put it among the best ever. Not bad.
ReplyDeleteWhy does a prelim fight between 2 UFC female rookies have better heat then WWE main event feuds?
ReplyDeleteRey Mysterio is a great comparison for Itami, though I think Rey had two natural advantages: his mask gave him a marketing hook that also made him a cool guy to follow, and he's far more articulate than Itami. I think they need to tinker with Itami's look a bit to help him out, because compared to Balor he's going to look plain as Hell.
ReplyDeleteTits?
ReplyDeleteI'm not really anti-Poehler but I think I would have enjoyed that show a lot more if she wasn't the lead
ReplyDeletejust a thought: wwe should take all the roh guys on nxt, make them in a group and have them debut together as a shield/nexus/radicalz type group
ReplyDeletethe fight is the tits or the girls have tits?
ReplyDeleteHow many Ring of Honor guys, sans Owens and Zayn are in NXT right now? I know the list increases if you start including guys on the main roster.
ReplyDeleteThe latter on its on, but it helps if the fight is tits too. But two chicks trib-killing each other can do the trick
ReplyDeleteShe got a lot better after they decided to make her a real person and not female Michael Scott
ReplyDeleteShe was the reason I didn't get into the show until halfway through, never liked her (she was borderline intolerable in Baby Mama). That said, the show definitely turned my opinion on her, playing a sunny, optimistic character fit her really well, she was basically a grown up Lisa Simpson.
ReplyDeleteWell contrary to internet rumor Finn Balor is bit wearing the body paint every skew from now on. He isn't at the trains for his matches so.
ReplyDeleteLet him have a little bit of paint on the small shows, same for the entrances. Then when he has a big match, full body paint and entrance.
ReplyDeleteTrue, and I didn't even mean in a "anybody but her" way, I'd still have her on the show just not the center....though I would have had Offerman front and center all the time so who knows if that'd maintain long run interest
ReplyDeleteMaking a highlight reel of Gary Payton's kid makes me feel old, not even 30 yet
ReplyDeleteItami barely speaks English, though. And Rey's a special case with the Mexican fanbase and kids buying masks.
ReplyDeleteYea, Ron Swanson only works as a secondary character and not the lead
ReplyDeleteI think too much Ron wouldve killed him, his thing is being on the outskirts contrasting the nuttiness around him in his own alpha male way
ReplyDeleteSolomon Crowe
ReplyDeleteAnd now I wish NXT was a main show on a TV network. Oh how Smackdown is already giving me a headache.
ReplyDeleteFile this away under the "in my dreams" category, but I would absolutely kill for the WWE to run this underground-style Network special on a Saturday night from the Manhattan Center, where they do a competition pitting NXTers against main roster guys, with an eyes towards people who can work.
ReplyDeleteBut, then it would suck.
ReplyDeleteI'm the exact opposite. I don't want them to grow it or do anything to it; just leave it in its own little bubble of awesomeness, so that Dunn and Vince stay as far the fuck away from it as possible. Whatever they're doing now is the antithesis to Raw and SmackDown, and I like it.
ReplyDeleteso who will get the nxt slot in the rumble?
ReplyDeleteI feel it too, but maybe working against some talent will help him. That and the GTS, which might get him over by itself.
ReplyDeleteOwens, put the heel on the map
ReplyDeleteBaron Corbin or Adrian Neville, most likely Corbin. I don't think they'll use someone high up on the NXT rung, but if they do I'd wager Neville in his promotion.
ReplyDeleteAt what point did the locker room become Taker's yard? We heard nary a peep during the whole Shawn/Bret thing. Then all of a sudden he's the backstage judge making sure business is done the right way. Man, please.
ReplyDeleteBull Dempsey.
ReplyDeleteThen he gets tossed in 1.4 seconds and gets his long overdue release.
He's been the locker room guy since the mid to late 90s. Probably when Hogan and his crew left in the 90s and Taker had his own clique
ReplyDeleteHa! So they just showed a commercial for SyFy's Ascension then what do they follow it up with, The Ascension.
ReplyDeleteYeah, judging by how Nash referred to Taker's clique with Yokozuna, probably some time in the early-mid 90s
ReplyDeleteI get the gist that NXT is a smark crowd, by and large (notice the boos Reigns got last night). I worry people may chant Punk on the main stage if he does it there. At least for the first few weeks / months until they establish it as HIS move.
ReplyDeleteYeah, as sad as missing it sometimes makes me, I'd rather it stay "hidden", lest the Usual Fucking Suspects do what they do best.
ReplyDeleteI still prefer the team of Jimmy Uso and Erik Rowen. The Rusos!
ReplyDeleteWhen I say Uss, you say De!
Man, Balor's entrance was the the tits
ReplyDeleteNow that we're free of those "Raw's great!" types, I'm finding myself feeling very positive about wrestling. NXT, Lucha Underground, the January 4th New Japan PPV. Lots of great stuff around right now.
ReplyDeleteMakes me so excited about NXT and so pissed about the main roster all at once. Usual Fucking Suspects is an apt phrase.

ReplyDeleteKane in the real world just looks weird
I agree with that, it's just, why can't we have a good wrestling product ON TV?
ReplyDeleteHe looks exactly like he does on Raw/Smackdown. Maybe this would be more jarring before he essentially dropped the Kane gimmick.
ReplyDeleteBecause idiots are in charge where it matters?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'll stick to that for now.
if I was a wrestler, wearing the mask would be awesome. I could go out in public and no one would notice.
ReplyDeleteInstead of a mask, i could just work for tna and still not be noticed.
Not everyday you see Kane serving hot chocolate for the Salvation Army
ReplyDeleteFar more time to fill + senile, out of touch decision makers.
ReplyDeleteWell, he has experience in both cafeterias and concession stands.
ReplyDeleteBrewed in the finest hellfire and brimstone
ReplyDeleteHoly shit, I was so geared up for NXT that I forgot about New Japan's upcoming show.
ReplyDeleteThose lazy beggars need to stop taking handouts and embrace free markets! #KrazyKane
ReplyDeleteWell no paint at all tonight at least, just going to save it for big shows it seems.
ReplyDeletePunch out the work clock, free for the weekend!
ReplyDeleteWe talk about Kane, and bam, Pete Rose is on my TV.
ReplyDeleteI tried to watch Flair jr vs Snoop Dogg's cousin on youtube this morning but they only had the four minute clip version posted. As someone that has zero respect for diva's matches, I have to say I was thoroughly impressed.
ReplyDeleteJan 4 right?
ReplyDeleteThe should do a vignette portraying him as the innovator of these devastating finishers. You know, if anyone knows how to use it it's him, that sort of thing.

ReplyDeleteGuile's theme goes with everything

Correct.
ReplyDeleteSlide down that Dino neck!
ReplyDeleteI really wouldn't mind if all the shows had those LED ring aprons.
ReplyDeleteShe's Snoop's cousin?
ReplyDeleteWas the "Team Madness" Savage really necessary? I remember being a kid and being really disappointed Savage looked and acted different.
ReplyDeleteAre they in a meth lab?
ReplyDeletei thought molly holly was much hotter than gorgeous george
ReplyDeleteShouldn't he be opposed to doing charity? Shouldn't he be telling them to instead pick themselves up by their bootstraps and increase their individual worth by using their labor to provide for themselves as individuals?
ReplyDeleteFree of them? Did Vince Jordan get banned or something?
ReplyDeleteNo Naomi, I think it's for the other reasons.
ReplyDeleteSelf imposed exile. For a couple of weeks, so he said. What a fine Christmas present that would make for all of us.
ReplyDeleteNice thought, still think he'll show up on Monday.
ReplyDeleteHe said he was leaving for a week or two, which is good because between the fake meltdown and yesterday he was really getting tiresome.
ReplyDeleteTricia Helfer is in another sci-fi series? Really?
ReplyDeleteIs she a robot again?
What happened?
ReplyDeleteThe worst thread of all time.
ReplyDeleteYeah definitely don't want him and his positive attitude and different opinions around here!
ReplyDeleteHe had different opinions than most everyone else.
ReplyDeleteWWE SUCKS OR GTFO
ReplyDeleteI don't mind that. I like people who play devil's advocate and keep people on their toes.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a fucking follower.
ReplyDeleteWell it isn't tolerated around these parts.
ReplyDeleteJust try to argue with me. I always win
ReplyDeleteIn the update thread he planned to start a flame war, which you could tell by his very first post, and it went back and forth and at one point he said that RAW was supposed to be mediocre, got a lot of shit for that, then left.
ReplyDelete:shrugs:
ReplyDeleteYou're not wrong in that statement.
That was not the case. He was just goading people into flame wars. Yesterday's thread proved that
ReplyDeleteI don't think he has a single one of those opinions. He's just trolling. If he actually did have real opinions he did a poor job of articulating them. I kind of liked Vince, but if he's going to post that much he either has to drop the gimmick or work in new material imo.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should follow Vince Jordan.
ReplyDelete"This thread isn't gonna end well."
ReplyDeleteIt is but when you are obviously a gimmick account with the sole purpose of stirring things up, it gets old
ReplyDeleteIf VJ is a gimmick so are the posters that can't say anything positive about the WWE
ReplyDeleteYes! Kevin Owens theme on iTunes. Totally walking to the hairdresser tomorrow with this in my headphones.
ReplyDeleteJust finished Game of Thrones Season 4. Didn't really like it to be honest. Easily my least favorite season. None of the big moments landed and I'm finding the number of characters I care about is dangling on the precipice of not enough.
ReplyDeleteI don't get why he won't just follow me. I've tried giving him specific advice on what matches and how to think about wrestling.
ReplyDeleteLOL at believing he was positive.
ReplyDeleteHe was fine except for when he decided to intentionally stir things up by making up stuff people said or over generalizing.
ReplyDeleteThe funniest was when he mixed up the DVD 500 and PWI 500
You read the books?
ReplyDeleteYou aren't mean enough to him.
ReplyDeleteI've nearly finished the first book. You read them?
ReplyDeleteI thought it was the best series since the first. Shame ***** got his head smoothed - I really liked him.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I want to do this debate tonight.
ReplyDeleteVJ just tries to start fights. That is all he does. Look at yesterday's thread, it was transparent. He went off on people being negative and was the only one posting.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever read any of his posts. Find some where he made any kind of points or real arguments.
ReplyDeleteYeah I'll only play that game with girls, sorry abeyance.
ReplyDeleteThere were times where he did a good job of pointing out when people were so quick to jump off the ledge. And he does make a good point that people act like WWE is more painful than passing a kidney stone yet are there every Monday for three hours of RAW.
ReplyDeleteTotal disagree. The production, directing, and acting has never been better. The plot is debatable, but that's definite a matter of taste.
ReplyDeleteHe brings up that he enjoyed Raw when he watched. I'm not so much defending him as I find a few posters here far worse.
ReplyDeleteGrown damn men forming rival gangs at work.
ReplyDeleteThe first season started slow but really picked up. I loved Seasons 2 & 3 but Season 4 just never got going. Even the big moments(moments I waited years for lacked the punch.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of Season 4 was the Adventures of Hound & Arya.
I think he generally tried to keep a positive disposition about WWE and enjoyed calling people out when they were stupid
ReplyDeleteYeah I read them all a few years ago after the first season because I dug the show so much. Honestly its annoying to me that the guy never finished the next book and has kind of soured me to the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteNah... the first half was mostly shit, but there was some good stuff overall.
ReplyDeleteTrue, and I dont usually mind him but here was his first post from yesterday:
ReplyDelete"*reads all the news items...*
Oh this thread won't be pretty... :)"
If that doesnt telegraph what would follow, I dont know what else to tell you.He purposely started what happened. It was part of his plan
I don't disagree there. I hate when trolls do smiley faces, it's so fucking smarmy.
ReplyDeleteDamn I love the Vikings TV show.
ReplyDeletehttp://youtu.be/ZZs2a1DN9bQ
The direction and acting is fine. It's the plot and the characters really. I just found myself a little bored with what was happening this season. I didn't feel as invested as I was the first 3 seasons. Even the big ninth episode was good but not nearly as "Holy Shit wow" as the first 3 seasons.

ReplyDeleteI really didn't pay much attention to him, but he was caping for a product he rarely watched. He didn't know what he was on about.

Positive? The guy complains as much as anyone else, just about other posters instead of Raw.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy that Vince Jordan likes what most people here dislike so he is a troll... and the guy who wrote the Steen/Generico post disliked what everyone else liked so he is a dumb ass. ReplyDeleteI get destroyed all the time on here for liking TNA lol
ReplyDeleteHe IS a dumbass. It's a stupid criticism to make.

And it feels like his shit is more a Disney type cash grab now, which is what it is, but I don't really like that kind of stuff in my fiction.
ReplyDeleteIf we're a "hive mind" in the sense that we like PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING, then I'll wear that damn badge with pride.
ReplyDeleteIf I wanted to watch average to poor actors doing shitty comedy/drama "skits", there are many better shows out there. Like sitcoms and soap operas.
Vince Jordan was clearly trolling and this is from someone who liked him more than most
ReplyDeleteIts not Netflix. But southpark studios has almost all the episodes (just the ones with Mohammed in it are missing I think but you can find those on youtube)
ReplyDeleteIt's a forum attached to a blog by Scott Keith. Of course the majority will have similar opinions. Everyone's been really positive the last 24hrs - no mean feat, no bad thing.
ReplyDeleteI don't know, he's talked non-wrestling stuff before. He lives in Canada, I think Montreal
ReplyDeleteVince Jordanesque
ReplyDeleteI dont mind him that much but this week he has been in rare form
ReplyDeleteWorst also makes actual points, and BACKS THEM UP with examples. I might not agree with the point, but I definitely can see where he's coming from, and follow the logic involved.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it could be a regular poster. VJ posts too much, its a full time account I'd think.
ReplyDeleteThat she is. http://www.wrestlenewz.com/photos/divas/sasha-banks-nxt/sash1.jpg
ReplyDeleteHe is one of those people who acts like there's some sort of imaginary Roman Reigns backlash
ReplyDeleteDepending on your stance on book vs HBO, could be worse. HBO already has the treatment and knows the major beats so as soon as they catch him, they'll be writing the ending for him so to speak
ReplyDeleteI honestly think the story has run its course.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a strong book vs. show stance. Reading the first book it seems like the first season was a pretty loyal adaptation.
ReplyDeleteI guess since I'm into the show already I prefer it to the books. The first books been a little hard to read because I already know what happened so reading 1700 pages is harder to push through.
Slow hand clap for those who have "announced" they're taking a few days off from the Blog. Big fucking deal.
ReplyDeletePretty much my point.
ReplyDeleteRoman Reigns isn't even over enough to have a backlash. He's leftover meatloaf. If that's what your serving people will eat it, but no one is going to get too excited about it either.
ReplyDeleteThat's not why he gets destroyed.
ReplyDeleteThey dont have a roster hot enough for someone undeserving to get a push and the fans to be pissed about. They have to elevate some guys first.
ReplyDeleteDude I like you but you should get destroyed for trying to spin the Destination America thing as good. Come on bro.
ReplyDeleteHe just won Superstar of the Year in a vote Meltz said was legit.
ReplyDeleteIt is a big deal
ReplyDeleteI think there is potential for more story to tell but it felt like they purposely dragged on in places. Plus, it really depends on your enjoyment of the different characters. I don't care about Ms. Dragon born Targaryn or Bran so episodes that featured them dragged.
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of a big deal. People know me.
ReplyDeletehulu or just go to the south park website
ReplyDeleteYeah that's the other thing, do you really need a show about dragons and magic going 7 or 8 seasons? No.
ReplyDeleteThat's definitely GRRM's fault. I do think season 5 will stop the train down.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who isn't Scott announcing their absence probably has an inflated sense of self.
ReplyDeleteHuh, day time meltdowns again? We should really plan for the shit to hit the fan during prime time some evening for those that can't get away during the 9-5
ReplyDeleteHopefully. I'm not jumping ship or anything. I still enjoy the show. But it was a little worrisome this season.
ReplyDeleteParallax just below.
ReplyDeleteWrong
ReplyDeleteIf Bayless, Princess or Hall, said that they were leaving for awhile, that would be a big deal because they post so much content
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty dubious to me, especially with those screen shots of the ballot out there.
ReplyDeleteFair, those with posting privileges.
ReplyDeleteYeah
ReplyDeleteAhhh, figured there'd be more hoopla involved
ReplyDeleteHe didn't have a meltdown.
ReplyDeleteThe thing Maffew posted?
ReplyDeleteMaybe but it shouldnt be a big deal anyway. I doubt the 80's Slammy's were legit.
The whole thing is really sad
ReplyDeleteI didn't say he had.
ReplyDeleteEh, I was the one throwing that word in, figured I missed something popcorn worthy
ReplyDeletePrincess posts one thread a week that someone like Stranger could easily fill for.
ReplyDeleteYeah I don't the backlash against shitting on the product. Like I've been reading scotts stuff for 3 decades now. Its his blog. Of course its an open forum for discussion but I'm not going to go to a Lakers game and wonder why no one is playing baseball.
ReplyDeleteI dont see how someone could not see what Vince Jordan was doing yesterday and spin it as being positive.
ReplyDeleteMy bad
ReplyDeleteThe screen cap with Bryan and Reigns sharing a voting thing.
ReplyDeleteIf Princess announced she was leaving, I'd celebrate.
ReplyDeleteI think it really is good. It doesn't affect me any with the move. I still get to watch Impact. Plus, now they have an immediate replay that airs right after the initial airing and they have a Saturday morning airing of it too. Destination America seems on board with helping TNA grow.
ReplyDeleteWhy do I get destroyed? For being "delusional"?
ReplyDeleteHow's that different from any other series?
ReplyDeleteDid we really need 7 years of Picard being a moral authority, or Data trying to become more human? Or Riker trying to break Kirk's inter species relations record?
Or the Seinfeld crew being assholes and jerks?
Or Tony Soprano killing his way to the top and holding on?
Or Carrie Bradshaw figuring out her life after fucking hundreds of guys?
None of these need to go 7 or 8 seasons.
I want so sub to either Hulu or Netflix. I'd like Hulu for the shows but I'd like Netflix for the shows and movies. Anyone have both and would recommend one over the other?
ReplyDelete
