Backstage Reaction to HHH's Appearance on Steve Austin's Podcast
It has been reported that many of the talent did not believe HHH when he said that he had no beef with CM Punk. Also, many of the talent agreed with HHH when he said RAW needed to revert back to the two hour format.

Potential Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler Match at WrestleMania on Hold?
Right now there is talk that the company will keep Ziggler & Ryback as a team and have them work a tag match at WrestleMania. Some in the company are even speculating that the Bryan vs. Reigns match was made for Fast Lane because the company has already started heading into a different direction for WrestleMania

Zigglers/Ryback vs Kane/Big Show.
ReplyDeleteWho does the job?
Today's News: Yes movement is getting Daniel Bryan into the Main event, watch Raw to see what happens.
ReplyDeleteTomorrows news: WWE is against Bryan being in the main event, watch WWE to see what happens instead.
WWE are marketing geniuses.
Kane, because he can just go away for a short while, come back with the mask and be considered a main eventer again no matter how much he jobs in the meantime.
ReplyDeleteI doubt many believed Triple H when he said he didn't have an issue with Punk.
ReplyDeletebWo have done another interview today talking about their legacy and careers.
ReplyDeleteThey were actually so over and well remembered that a comedy jobber stable from a no3 promotion gets talked about still.
Why is Paul Heyman not running the booking of WWE's midcard right now?
I think the answer is somewhere in the middle, as it usually is. There's quite obviously issues there, but I think from HHH's end of it, the issues were more just that he was so goddamn difficult to work with. Punk's issues with them were much deeper and numerous, I'd say.
ReplyDeleteSo while there clearly were issues, I fully believe HHH and Vince when they say they'd work with him again. But I also think Punk's complaints are most likely valid, by and large, and he's largely justified in not wanting to work with them again.
Just wanted you guys opinion on something. Was watching a commercial for the wwe hall of fame on the WWE. And saw Undertaker do that "on one knee with his arm up in the air thing" towards paul bearer's family (I think). Is that all he did? Would it have killed the guy to break character and thank him without the hokey shit? Ive only seen that not the show. So appologies if he gave a heart warming speech.
ReplyDeleteI do believe however that Punk is the kind of guy to grumble about things to friends and then when someone like HHH comes up to him and asks straight up he'd say that things were cool. Punk wasn't exactly the kind of guy to pour his heart out, he probably thrived on that resentment.
ReplyDeleteSlow news day.
ReplyDeleteThis just in:
I love ice cream.
Credit me
I think HHH would be fine with working with Punk again. It's also palpable that HHH and Punk just don't mesh as people. You can hear the bile in their voices when talking about one another.
ReplyDeleteAgree that Bryan/Ziggler should be off the table. Bryan's the most over guy in the company and last year was the main focal point of Mania, and this year he's gonna have a no-feud, no-stakes nothing match against a midcard babyface who loses all the time? NO BUYS.
ReplyDeleteIf he's not gonna get a title match, then I'd much rather see Bryan have a match against Sheamus. At least Sheamus would be a heel and come in with more credibility than Ziggler, and they'd be able to craft a more heated angle than "Let's go out there and steal the show buddy!!"
He did not, and I have no problem with what he did. Seemed appropriate.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure it's all he did, and I'm willing to wager that the Moody family loved it. They weren't at his funeral, after all. They were at a WWE event.
ReplyDeleteI'm reminded of the Angle/Benoit match at WM17, it was thrown together a week before the show because they have nothing else to do with them despite being incredibly popular.
ReplyDelete100% opposites in every way
ReplyDeleteOk. I will accept that. Just wondering :)
ReplyDeleteHOSS 3:16
ReplyDeleteGive me your ice cream.
That's moot if he contacted them personally which I assume he did.
ReplyDeleteCool.
ReplyDeleteAlthough it was reported on Tuesday via Reddit user "MetsFan4Ever" that
ReplyDeleteWWE officials were considering changing NXT star Kalisto's gimmick to
that of a gay hair stylist, WWE sources reached out today and claimed
that is not the case, and that Kalisto will not be changing characters
at all.
I JUST STOLE YOUR ICE CREAM
ReplyDeleteI guess El Salon is no longer a thing.
ReplyDeleteTGIF BOYS!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe gonna have FUUUUUUUN TODAY!!!
What kind of ice cream?
ReplyDeleteKalisto is such a perfect name for a gay hair dresser.
ReplyDeleteNO GIVE ME A HELL YEAH!!!!! NO GIVE ME YOUR FUCKING ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!! KICK, WHAM, CHOKESLAM
ReplyDeleteKHALI MA KHALI MA KHALI MA!
ReplyDelete*attempts to tear out Reign's heart*
Gonna have some ICE CREAM today!
ReplyDelete:: Hoss dance ::
So when is Cena turning heel? LOL
ReplyDeleteNot that I was in favour of a Ziggler/Bryan match, but Ziggler's never getting out of the midcard, is he?
ReplyDeleteI thought we agreed the Hoss Dance would simulate you eating ice cream cones and not popsicles. It looks wrong.
ReplyDeleteI have a better idea, give him the arc.
ReplyDeleteWasn't Angle a heel? That match had some heat that a face/face "Let's do cool movez pal!" Bryan/Ziggler match wouldn't be able to have.
ReplyDeletePlus Ziggler is nowhere near as good or as credible as Benoit or Angle were at that point, and Bryan is a way bigger deal now than Benoit or Angle were at the time. This match is having the guy who won Mania last year now sink down to wrestling a virtual job guy a year later, PLUS there's the match would have no stakes or feud attached to it. It's garbage.
I believe most of the beef was Punk's way as he clearly (and was probably justified) still upset about booking decisions made many months earlier. He's a guy that holds grudges and HHH probably has enough shit on his table from day to day not to think about those things.
ReplyDeleteThat being said I'm sure HHH hated dealing with Punk when he had to because I'm sure Punk wasn't an easy hand to deal with.
Many kinds. Faves include baskin ribbons chocolate chip and culvers coconut chocolate almond crunch.

ReplyDelete"It has to be this one. It looks like a conditioner bottle, and Jesus would have wanted to have rockin' hair like mine"
ReplyDeleteWhat about Curtis Axel? The man loses both his spot in the Royal Rumble and his tag team partner (yeah Rybxel broke up but now Ryback is back in tag competition with someone else).
ReplyDeleteNope. Maybe here and there, he'll have flashes of ascendency but for the most part, he's stuck. He's nearing his mid-thirties and if they didn't push him after his superhuman effort at Survivor Series, they never will.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the holy conditioner is better.
ReplyDeleteHow'd I find the one chick in 2015 that wants to hook up but doesn't like to suck dick. How is this even a thing? I'm blown away.
ReplyDeleteShould I even bother?
Almost definitely not. Read a smackdown recap and the dude comes out next to Ryback wearing a "The Little Guy" workout belt.
ReplyDeleteI think the midcard is where Ziggler should be, actually.
Consider a fat white guy doing the Icky Woods Shuffle.
ReplyDeleteYeah, 34, and has had the Ziggler gimmick since 2008.
ReplyDeleteNo.
ReplyDeleteWhat's weird is now they've done THREE moments with him that could have been truly star-making, iconic moments and just done nothing with it: his win over Cena with the superkick at TLC '12, his post-WM29 Raw cash-in on ADR, and beating the Authority at Survivor Series.
ReplyDeleteAnd then just nothing.
Does she want you to go down on her? Because if she does and won't reciprocate, she's a selfish bitch.
ReplyDeleteZiggler and Cody Rhodes could be great pillars of the midcard.
ReplyDeleteSurvivor Series was meant as a showcase for Sting. I said it when it happens and all of their booking since says it had nothing to do with Ziggler at all. He was just a prop for Sting to come save to start the feud with HHH no one wants to see.
ReplyDeletePlus his offense is about as weak as it gets. Aside from the fact that he has the least protected finishers in wrestling history, the dude also spends 90% of his matches bumping like a maniac. Which can be fun to watch, but doesn't exactly make him seem like a star.
ReplyDeleteYou can only have so many 'star-making' moments before people just won't buy it anymore.
ReplyDeleteMr.McMahon Utopia video gets better after trolling the fan base multiple times.
ReplyDeleteThe one in seeing now kept holding out on it and building it up to be this magical experience I'd eventually get. It really wasn't any different than any other ones.
ReplyDeleteYeah, but to answer your question, one would actually have to care about Curtis Axel.
ReplyDeleteI still have hope for Cody. He's still only 29.
ReplyDeleteHell Nah.
ReplyDeleteThat's the thing: each time, people have definitely bought it. He was right there with people ready for him to be a huge star. I'm not advocating him being The Guy or anything, but there's no good reason he isn't a permanent fixture in the upper echelon by now.
ReplyDeleteconsulting with rasslin fans for advice probably isn't your best route.
ReplyDeleteI ain't ever cared about Curtis Axel and I ain't fixin to start now.
ReplyDeleteWhat is that?
ReplyDeleteHis offense is to bump so insanely the opponent thinks he hass legit killed him. Then when the guy is distracted BAM! Zig Zag outta nowhere for a 2 count before losing.
ReplyDeleteHe uses this same formula whether fighting Mark Henry, Rusev, or Fandango. The guy doesn't understand the importance of selling moves at all, he just knows he's really good at bumping.
I'm all aboard the Reigns Train! Choo-Choo!!!
ReplyDeleteVideo promo for the SCSA/Dude Love No DQ match.
ReplyDeleteBut I care!
ReplyDeleteMoment #4 coming up when he has a SHOW STEALING 8-minute match with Bryan to open up Mania 31???
ReplyDeleteYou can continue to hook up with her but anything t more would be foolish
ReplyDeleteFind a chick who loves to give oral early and often. Otherwise, cut 'em loose. Otherwise, they'll never give it out and you'll be one of those poor guys who has to 'ask' for it 'because it's my Birthday'.
ReplyDeleteI don't say it as a slight to Cody. Huge fan. But being "midcard" shouldn't be a bad thing.
ReplyDeleteI hate you
ReplyDeleteNah. You can find something else. Sounds like a prude.
ReplyDeleteBrotivational Brovice.
ReplyDeleteHe hasn't developed his act in five years. Not moveset, not look, not in-ring ability. He's just been 'there'.
ReplyDeleteRoman Trains
ReplyDeleteI'll jump on that caboose!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what that looks like.
ReplyDeleteCan I just imagine a fat white guy doing the Truffle Shuffle?
really? I think a lot of their issues come from being similar people. Sometimes you hate the guys who are like you most of all.
ReplyDeleteI've said this before, but not only is his offensive arsenal weak, it's also shallow. He'll just repeat moves.
ReplyDeleteAnother case of if there was a credible, legit #2 wrestling promotion Cody and Ziggler would be prime candidates to go there, become world champs, make a load of money and up their profile as stars.
ReplyDeleteInstead you can probably fast forward to Wrestlemania 35 when Cody and Ziggler will both still be in the pre-show battle royal and Booker T will be referring to them as "two young guys trying to make a name for themselves in this biznass."
You're right. And Cody's made the absolute most of everything he's been given.
ReplyDeleteI care for him as well.
ReplyDeleteYeah. Paul Bearer's sons actually said on Twitter or Facebook that they loved it and that their Dad would have too, due to The Internet having a shit-fit over the idea of CM Punk / WWE / Undertaker 'disrespecting' Paul Bearer like that.
ReplyDeleteIf the midcard was booked the way it was booked in the 80s and 90s it wouldn't be a bad thing. It wouldn't be a bad thing to start booking people to take over Big Show and Kane's spot.
ReplyDeleteI always thought that if they were going to go Kayfabe, they should have had a moment with Kane, Taker, Foley, and maybe Vader all out there together.
ReplyDeleteI told my fiance she is to drink nothing but tequila on our honeymoon. Why might never leave the room at all if that happens.
ReplyDeleteQuad City DJs or riot.
ReplyDeleteWhere are you going?
ReplyDeleteI think the complaints about Ziggler's offense is one of the most incorrect commonly made claims on this board.
ReplyDeleteWell, she's not a prude, I've just started talking to her last night and I've already seen her tits and she clearly wants to fuck, I just can't imagine a girl not wanting to give head.
ReplyDeleteShe wants to meet up today and I asked her if she would and her response was "maybe". I dunno.
We are thinking about taking a cruise through the bahamas.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBGXZZhhVaU
ReplyDeleteGo for it.
ReplyDeleteHope she has a nice ample chest.
ReplyDeleteIn the heat of battle many have done what they vowed to never do.
ReplyDeleteTry Grenada.
ReplyDeleteIf she won't give head she sounds like a prude. Tits mean nothing.
ReplyDeleteMy ex was a filthy, filthy thing who would do just about anything and everything... except give head. For some girls is an exception.
ReplyDeleteDoes this chick describe herself as 'bi' at all? Sometimes I've found that means "I'm mostly attracted to other girls, but I'll be with a guy so long as I don't have to touch his penis with my mouth".
I don't know what grenades have to do with this situation.
ReplyDeleteObviously you're not dating Francine as she was the head cheerleader.
ReplyDeleteThe Survivor Series one is the biggest shame, but sadly, that moment would've been for Reigns had he not been injured. Dolph was pretty much a sub for Roman in that whole feud.
ReplyDeleteIn what way?
ReplyDeleteI know movesets are generally reduced across the board in WWE to punchy-kicky stuff, but honestly--- whenever I watch a Ziggler match I'm amazed at how little offense he gets in and how unmemorable his offensive spots are.
Very good insight here.
ReplyDeleteNah, I haven't come across that.
ReplyDeleteGrenadine goes well in cocktails that you can then give to your lady.
ReplyDeleteI think Ziggler is improving as a babyface. He has really learned the art of obtaining baby face sympathy. Unfortunately his matches are rarely booked to allow him to rally for a babyface comeback.
ReplyDeleteTotal prude. Abort.
ReplyDelete"Facts, ...where did you get a hand grenade?"
ReplyDeleteBumping the same for Fandango as you do for Bray Wyatt is idiotic and worthy or criticism, IMO
ReplyDeleteThat cracked me up, too. People complaining about Punk and the urn. William Moody worked in professional wrestling for 35 goddamn years. He'd have loved it.
ReplyDeleteJust watched the MITB match from WM25, and I'm struck by the fact that no matter how amazing the MITB matches are, no matter how many great spots there are, all the matches blend into one another in a way that normal ladder matches don't.
ReplyDeletemaybe she's waiting to reveal her sick fetish to you.
ReplyDeleteCody's got one of the best movesets in WWE. His spots all look good. He's got a good moonsault, good springboard clothesline, Beautiful Disaster kick looks great, Crossrhodes is awesome, he's got solid punches, and the moves he adopted from Dustin work well too.
ReplyDeleteGet him out of the facepaint!
A train......that's faster than a speeding bullet. PPPPPPEEEEEWWWW!
ReplyDeleteI've never once asked for oral. I will always prefer the other two options.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I don't care how filthy she is, that no oral thing is dangerously close to a deal breaker.
ReplyDeleteZigglers real problem is foot in the mouth disease.
ReplyDeleteExactly. I'd say it's a problem for babyfaces across the board in WWE but Ziggler NEVER just has a few minutes ina match where he's beating the shit out of anyone. I know he's supposed to be the sympathetic underdog, but so is Daniel Bryan and he absolutely murderizes heels when he gets the chance. Ziggler will hit Fandango with a dropkick, and then two seconds later he's doing a 360 flip from a Fandango clothesline.
ReplyDeleteEh, I found the WM25 MITB match to be fine. The WM26 one on the other hand.....
ReplyDeleteImagine a fat white guy doing the Cupid Shuffle.
ReplyDeleteYeah, they really are just a bunch of forgettable spot fests.
ReplyDeleteOh agree on Cody. I was talking about Ziggler.
ReplyDeleteSee also: Cesaro.
ReplyDeletestill the best intro for a PPV I've ever seen
ReplyDeleteI did say she was my ex ;) (Not just for that. but yeah, it was a factor!)
ReplyDeleteI got bored of the Money in the Bank matches and the Money in the Bank concept years ago. Lazy storytelling.
ReplyDeleteEh, keep yourself in practice for the next girl.
ReplyDeleteThat's bumping. I'm talking about his (apparently underrated at least around here) offense. I agree about his bumping. It's his greatest strength and weakness for just that reason.
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong I really enjoyed the match, I was blown away by some of the spots, but I know tomorrow i'll forget everything about it.
ReplyDeleteThe first one, the one from 23, and the two from 2011 stick out. The others blend.
ReplyDeleteHe recently added Dark Matter and Diamond Dust too.
ReplyDeleteI did Aruba and it was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI don't have specifics to rattle off without watching a match. I just know every time I'm watching a match with my friends I remark that I don't get why people shit on his offense/moveset and their response is usually, "Why would anyone think that?" And then I try to explain this place and give up, because I don't think there's a good answer to the question.
ReplyDeleteI still remember spots from that match, even if I haven't seen it for years.
ReplyDeleteusos v rybak/ziggler v ascension v caesaro/kidd for the tag titles?
ReplyDeleteI know I just look for any excuse to praise Cody Rhodes. Speaking of Cody Rhodes man that guy is a talent!
ReplyDeleteI doubt many believed Triple H.
ReplyDeleteFTFY.
I don't know that either. I'm not down with the kids. I'm just gonna pretend he's going Gangnam Style with an ice cream in each hand.
ReplyDeleteHe is improving on offense and psychology, I will give him that, but that finisher kinda sucks and he doesn't have a standout offense at all besides his super kick, which I hope they let him use as a finisher. I don't think HBK is coming back anytime soon so why not let him use that.
ReplyDeleteAgreed.
ReplyDeleteYou know which one stuck out for me? The recent one that Rollins one, because they actually did that awesome angle where Ambrose fights his way back from an injury into the match and almost wins. It was a MITB match with an actually angle and a face/heel feud dynamic.
I'm so done with winter.
ReplyDeleteIs it real considered foot in mouth if he's completely right with what he says?
ReplyDeleteMe too. Another foot or so in Boston over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteShe was overrated.
ReplyDeletePeople have been talking about him using the Superkick finish since 2012. It ain't happening at this point and now too many people routinely use the superkick for it to work as a finish. Rusev, Usos, Harper and Ziggler all bust out superkicks.
ReplyDeleteRoman Reigns has also been doing interviews where he comes across as a dick. I think Roman will Dolph himself by the end of the year.
ReplyDeleteSome questions in life are just unanswerable, such as "Why are we here?" or "Does Dolph Ziggler have a credible offensive moveset?" I hear ya.
ReplyDeletewe're getting about 7-8 inches in CT, or so they say... but still, ugh.
ReplyDeleteI'm counting down the days to spring training.
I've been with three girls is the past that, in reference to giving blowjobs, said, "Ew, I don't do that!" Once the the clothes came off the first thing they did was head downstairs.
ReplyDeleteAsk Snooki.
ReplyDelete'Reddit user MetsFan4Ever, a verified WWE insider who has broke news in the past, has said that Roman Reigns will win his match with Daniel Bryan at WWE Fast Lane and face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. The only reason the Reigns/Bryan match was made, according to MetsFan4Ever, is so WWE can please the “marks” while getting Reigns over. They will stick with their plan regardless of how the fans react because Reigns vs Lesnar is the planned main event of Wrestlemania 31.
ReplyDeleteHe also said that WWE knows people will watch Wrestlemania regardless of the card. He said he was told they could book Doink the Clown vs Brock Lesnar and fans would still watch because Wrestlemania is bigger than anyone on the show.
Even though Reigns is going over at Fast Lane, Bryan was picked to get him ready for Wrestlemania. Bryan is considered one of the most physical wrestlers on the roster and can prepare Reigns for a match with Lesnar.'
I hope your wife doesn't find out.
ReplyDeleteI was astonished at the time. "The WWE are using real life events to get heat on a fictional storyline!" I'd like to imagine those fans have since discovered Wrestlemania VII via the network, and their heads exploded.
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is a dealbreaker.
ReplyDeleteZiggler/Ryback tag team is so stupid. You know what this show needs? Solid non-authority heels. Ziggler and Ryback have nothing to do? Turn one or both heel. Ziggler could work with anyone up or down the card. For instance, if Roman Reigns is your guy and you need to keep his momentum going, who better than the sell machine that Ziggler is to make him look amazing for his first post Mania program.
ReplyDeleteNot if Vince likes him. Generally,if your boss likes you,you can bypass a lot of the rules.I think Roman will be fine, unless he says something absolutely horrible.
ReplyDeleteDoink wins or we riot.
ReplyDeleteI'd prefer Doink vs Lesnar at Mania
ReplyDeleteAll that will happen is that Bryan, basically being God with a better beard, will make Reigns look like a million bucks and the match with Brock will expose him horribly.
ReplyDeleteDoink vs Brock would be awesome, and a nice surprise way to get Chris Jericho onto the card. Even if it will make HBK sad.
ReplyDeleteAt least Doink doesn't bore me like Reigns does.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't save Batista back in 2005 and I'm sure Vince loved the guy. If there's one thing Vince loves more than meaty thighs it's humbling dudes and pushing them into pools.
ReplyDeleteThey overestimate the fan base
ReplyDeletePretty much what I expect. I don't expect Reigns/Lesnar to be good for a number of reason. If the conventional wisdom afterwards is that it hit ***, that's actually a win for them in my book. Really expecting *1/2 to **.
ReplyDeleteI bet Brock is salivating at the thought of roughing up another of Vince's pretty poster boys.
ReplyDeleteWere Matt Borne still with us I would rather see Doink - Lesnar than Reigns - Lesnar. At least there would be promos.
ReplyDeleteWow! Holy Smoke! Crash landing!
ReplyDeleteSo is Vince, but for different reasons.
ReplyDeleteBut if it's not expected to be good, do they move the match away from the main event?
ReplyDeleteJBL's called 'second' after Vince is through.
ReplyDeleteI just got the sudden thought that a heel Sheamus/Ambrose match would rock.
ReplyDeleteWe are also stopping in Key West.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be there right now instead of this office.
I like winter, but living in a place with no winter activities is a drag.
ReplyDeleteI agree, the only problem I have is that both guys really need a win at this point. That's definitely a fresh match-up that would have my interest though.
ReplyDeleteThey don't have another closing match IMO.
ReplyDeleteIf Reigns/Lesnar is mediocre to bad.
Sting/HHH is bad (and it should be)
Wyatt/Taker is bad (and it should be, Taker is elderly)
And you're not doing Bryan/Ziggler. This could be a pretty awful wrestling card.
Where is there a legitimate match you have no doubt will be good?
Sting-HHH could have that "sports-entertainment" feel to it similar to the Vince-Hogan match from WM 19, but it still shouldn't be the main event. Could this WM supplant the others as worst ever?
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who thinks his "high spots" are shit? It's like the Cena Moves of Doom. I'm tired of them all, we can all see them coming, and I am desperate for them to change it.
ReplyDeleteWell problem solved, cause if that match happens Ambrose is jobbing like the jobbiest jobber who's ever jobbed.
ReplyDeleteTo be fair that hypothetical main event still features Brock Lesnar, not sure people would still watch if it was Doink Vs Adam Rose.
ReplyDeleteWhat do they mean this MetsFan4Ever dude is 'verified WWE insider'? Verified by who?
Sheamus loses very rarely ,so I'd have Ambrose win.
ReplyDeleteWhy is the AA a finishing move? It's just a body slam/fireman's carry. I don't understand why its played up as a huge finishing move.
ReplyDeleteAnd what other finishers do you feel are lacking impact?
He is right but like it or not within many corporate cultures you don't air out the company's dirty laundry out in public.
ReplyDeleteI don't know, Sting was pretty bad last time he was in a ring, and Sting hasn't been around in months and his debut kind was kind of underwhelming anyway. There's no natural animosity behind a Sting/HHH match whereas you had a wealth of story depth to Vince/Hogan.
ReplyDeleteSo I could see being a pretty lame match with not a lot of heat for the story.
Doink versus the Bunny or we riot.
ReplyDeleteSheamus would be fine taking a loss. Multi-time World Champion and has been a presence for 5 years now. If only he could actually get healthy. There are quite a few matches I'd like to see from Sheamus.
ReplyDeleteno, b/c I'll be there getting drunk and having fun regardless.
ReplyDeleteNot sure who he has been verified by but hasn't he been dead on with many of his predictions?
ReplyDeleteI doubt it could beat WrestleMania 2 or 11 for that claim.
ReplyDeleteI think the set up is what legitimizes that one. It's basically a body slam but the pageantry makes it feel more important.
ReplyDeleteIf Ziggler & Ryback do indeed stay as a team, who would they face at Mania? Ascension is all I can think of and they are terrible. Doubt they give Kidd & Cesaro a tag match
ReplyDeleteThat's why it's a finishing move, it causes back aches.
ReplyDeleteThe Spicoli driver was a great move back in the late 90's. Dreamer and Saturn used it a lot. I would hope it hasn't been relegated to transition move the way the spinebuster did. I still feel bad for Arn although I'm sure he's the agent who suggested using it. His was always the most impactful.
ReplyDeleteEdge's spear. That is some weak shit.
ReplyDeleteZig Zag, Angle Slam is some occasions.
ReplyDeleteIf underskill's happy, we all happy.
ReplyDeleteChristian's spear.
ReplyDeleteThat was just embarrassing.
They're setting it up like Kidd/Cesaro are getting a tag title match at Fast Lane, so I would assume they win the belts and defend at Mania if the plan is to have Ziggler/Ryback as a tag team.
ReplyDeleteOr, if it's not tag title related, then Ziggler/Ryback face *shudder* Big Show & Kane
Hogan's legdrop was the most devastating finish for years. In wrestling they sell them like big finishing moves and then people react to them as such.
ReplyDeleteI reckon Kidd & Cesaro are taking the belts from the Usos at Fast Lane, and then facing The Zig Guy at Mania
ReplyDeleteWhich version of the Zig Zag though, the Fameasser version or the other version?
ReplyDeleteTo be fair Christian never won a Worlds Title with his spear. His spear was a transition move. The unprettier was his finish.
ReplyDeleteIt was originally a death valley driver but I guess since Cena was still relatively green in 2003 they told him to change it for safety purposes.
ReplyDelete
