DG: Kzy (c) vs. Akira Tozawa - [2/28/15]
A trimmed down version of the always loveable Tozawa challenges for the Brave Gate title (DG's version of the Cruiserweight title). If you follow Tozawa at all, I'm sure you can appreciate his quest for singles gold. Very easy to root for here.

Z1 vs. W1: Masato Tanaka vs. Shuji Kondo - [2/22/15]
The adventure continues for Masato Tanaka fans, as he defends ZERO1's honor against the always impressive Shuji Kondo of Wrestle-1, who casual fans may recognize as the long time tag partner of former Jung Dragon Kaz Hayashi. Manly shit right here, as is always the case with Tanaka matches.

BJW: Isami Kodaka, Yuko Miyamoto & Kankuro Hoshino vs. Jaki Numazawa, Masashi Takeda & Takumi Tsukamoto - [2/9/15]
And finally, some death match violence for all of you purists out there. Kodaka & Miyamoto are one of the most underrated tag teams in the world, and Miyamoto is the Death Match World Champ in BJW right now, for those of you keeping track of this kind of stuff.

Ranger Ross, really? I believe you, but I've never seen it
ReplyDeleteIt's funny hearing Kevin Sullivan talk about this match. They're trying to keep Hogan happy, but it pisses off other guys, so they just have to keep adding more and more shit into the cage match until it's just a giant clusterfuck of a match. But Hogan was happy at the end, so I guess that's all that matters.
ReplyDeleteI remember reading about the huge cage match in a WCW Magazine, and I was like "Damn, they beat ALL THOSE GUYS? That match sounds AWESOME." thank God I've never seen it.
ReplyDelete"One of the most fantastic things you will ever see in this business"
ReplyDeleteYou are a human hyperbole machine. Japanese guys giving some dude a going away party is not incredible. The NWO debuting was fantastic. Steamboat vs. Savage was fantastic. Shut the fuck up Dock. You're the most cringeworthy person here.
You Have a new excuse each week. Just drop the Monday from your elitist YouTube link page. It doesnt add a thing an just serves to make you look like you can't operate a calendar.
ReplyDeleteAt the end of BATB94 when Hogan gets the
ReplyDeletepin and he’s all “Oh please god no I’ll do anything” and then at the wrap up he’s
just sitting there, depressed and distraught, I know it was just an act and he
really thought Hogan was the best thing for business but that’s damn real to
me, damnit.
Not that logic dictates a WWE push, but I see no reason why uhaa nation wouldn't get a huge push when he debuts.
ReplyDeleteIf I remember correctly, this was first announced on WCW Saturday Night as Hogan against Flair, Anderson, Luger and Sullivan in four separate cage matches. The fucking ego on this guy.
ReplyDeleteHow did Booker T get thrown into the tag match? Did they write him in or did he just show up?
ReplyDeleteI think I was the one who sent you this show; twice when I mailed you VHS over the years it cracked during handling, and that's having used padded envelopes. I don't miss VHS.
ReplyDeleteHe seems to tick all the boxes for what WWE is looking, big, muscular, he can talk and he can go in the ring. Hope they not push him a New Day member
ReplyDelete"get really drunk and watch it for free on the WWE Network."
ReplyDeleteYes my master, I will obey!
I sentence Booker T to greatness
ReplyDeleteWant some real wrestling ? My weekly column is up bitches ! http://www.rspwfaq.net/2015/03/muracos-monday-morning-matches-of-week.html
ReplyDeleteThis Uhaa guy doesnt impress me at all...The WWE should forget about him and just focus on pushing Titus O'Neil....
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the matches. Really enjoy these threads.
