Huh, so Duke - Kensucky for the national title is likely. It's nice to see two teams that epitomizr everything wrong with this country face off. Maybe after Calipari has yet another accomplishment pulled the NCAA will finally look into Duke and how they're just as bad as everyone else.
How about if they took the concept of the cruiserweight open at XX and did a NXT open at Wrestlemania. Let the champion enter last. They would put on an amazing show.
I don't think anything can compare with 16 year old female coaches, players with finishing moves, backstories to everything, and players so good and so dickish that they deliberately manipulate a final score to be 111-11 just to challenge themselves.
Realistic is as boring as real basketball. There's a reason why you don't see any professional amateur style wrestling. Kuroko's Basketball is like the Harlem Globetrotters on steroids.
I am only even aware of less than 1% of the anime/manga universe. I see Naruto, Kuroko's Basketball, Gintama, and may or may not watch Attack on Titan. That's about it.
If that tired ass Hell in a Cell match wasn't already planned for Wrestlemania 28. . .

Just playing about the missing the show part. Not joking about it coming back. Hopefully, it shows money transfers and banging co-ed/recruiting whores. I'd watch that.
I wish they had called an audible in the fall of 2011 and gone full-bore with HHH-Punk in the Cell, instead of Taker. Have Jericho's trolling gimmick be a ploy to get him a Streak match. Taker destroys Y2J at Mania 28, while Hunter lays down for Punk instead. Plus, Cena vs. Rock of course.
WRESTLEMANIA 28 RETCON: 1. Sheamus def. Daniel Bryan to win WHT 2. Kane def. Randy Orton 3. Zack Ryder def. Cody Rhodes to win IC Title 4. Match went a little too long, but it told a good story.
Decent show up to that point.
Sheamus/Bryan memorable for whatever Orton/Kane was a nothing match which only is memorable IMO for Kane going over Cody/Big Show was a nice little match where Cody showed he is more than capable of leading the match K2/Poop Stain Menudo vs. Beth/Eve was whatever. Celebrity WM moment. Inoffensive. Taker/HHH as mentioned above
Will catch the rest later. 1st time seeing the show since it aired
Cody totally carried that feud with Big Show. He did some great heel work on the microphone. Thought Show going over was dumb because Cody could have use a win more and keeping him IC Champ was smart.
Not at all. I also want players paid; the problem is everyone treats Coach K like he's Jesus Christ and Paypal Cal is lauded for his "refreshing" admitting the game. Both are hucksters selling an image on the backs of kids who have a lot more to lose.
I also thought Cody should have gone over at 27 in the Legacy triple threat. Orton didn't need it, Dibiase was getting the focus, so a Cody win would have been a nice IMO... not telegraphed but ultimately believable
I love the run from MITB 2011-Extreme Rules 2012. Easily my favorite recent run of WWE programming. Had 4 shows I was legitimately and almost child-like enthused about: MITB 2011, Summerslam 2011, WrestleMania 28 and Extreme Rules 2012. I was more excited for those PPVS than I had been for any show before. Wasn't perfect but I loved that run and was honestly excited everytime a PPV came around.
There was this Edge promo where he was in the ring shit-talking Taker and the arena did the whole "darkness, spooky music deal" and the lights came back to Edge laughing at it. Anything that pulled the rug out from that Pink Floyd laser light show nonsense was great.
Randy Orton should have beaten Kane at "Extreme Rules" 2012 in spectacularly violent fashion. Becoming the asshole, punt-your-head-off heel Viper version so he could be Punk's next challenger after the Jericho feud. They could have easily done Punk-Orton at 'Over the Limit' and 'No Way Out', especially if Cena had actually taken some fucking time off.
The whole card. I was loving Cody's IC title reign and he brought the goods in his feud with Big Show. Fantastic midcard feud. Punk was on fire and him vs. Jericho on a big stage was exciting. I loved the Undertaker/HHH match from the previous year and throwing in HIAC had my excitement at a fever pitch. And Rock/Cena explains itself. Not a huge Cena fan but Rock vs. Cena I was huge.
Oh I should also add Survivor Series 2011 to shows I was excited for from 2011-2012. Rock's return match, MSG, Punk getting that strap back...HELL YES.
I still maintain that they should have done Rock & Cena vs. HHH & Nash. More star power for an MSG show, plus it doesn't make Awesome Truth look like total jobbers. They got no "rub" or anything from that match. They could have gotten mileage out of Miz/Truth leading a crazy heel team against the WWE "lockerroom" during that whole "walkout" angle. - Rock/Cena vs. HHH/Nash (heels job to set up the HHH-Nash garbage for TLC...gotta have that Hunter strong for Taker! smh) - Team Awesome Truth vs. Team WWE - Punk vs. ADR, WWE Title
