I liked the second one better, but yeah, this was a decent game for the $5 I paid for it.

I loved this game. The 2nd one was a bit better because of the fake Mania arenas you could play in and a better overall roster.
ReplyDeleteI'd say the first was an OK rental or bargain bin title. Legends II was a bitter smoother in controls and graphics and had a better roster and could've been worse for a $40 release. 3 (showdown) was OK(ish) but as a new title wasn't worth the money.
ReplyDeleteI actually really liked the second one.
ReplyDeleteI'm vaguely tempted to fire up the PS2 and play it.
I loved this game. I wish I still had a ps2 to play this!
ReplyDeleteIt was a fun game for its time. The biggest problem was the super advanced moveset like he said in the review. It needed more cheesy stuff like double noggin knockers and eye pokes for the heels. That's part of the nostalgia.
ReplyDeleteAnd Dusty Rhodes hitting people in the nads.
