Pro Wrestling World

Hey Scott,

Have you ever checked out Bud Carson's Pro Wrestling World-the biggest wrasslin' museum on Earth? I highly recommend it and here's why...

Thanks!

Wasn't Allentown also the kayfabed home of the Nasty Boys?

  1. Thought the Nasty Boys were from Nastyville?

  2. I grew up in a town 25 minutes from Allentown, Bethlehem, but it was their kayfabed home town. I think they have legitimate ties there tho. It's also where the Vince steroid shit started, as you know, and close to where Rock went to high school. Who would have thought such a shitty area would have any wrestling ties.

  3. They were childhood friends from Whitehall Township, PA according to Wikipedia. I don't now how close that is to Allentown.

  12. Naw. Moved to Delaware when I was 17 and went to undergrad there. Never really went back to that area. Dated a girl in college from Easton so did hang out there sporadically for like a year. Another fun fact about Easton: where super MILF Lisa Ann got her start as about stripper.

  13. They're doing the CHIKARA return show in Easton as well. Not sure how indy wrestling became all about Philly and Chicago, and really confused why so many indy wrestlers are moving to St. Louis.

  15. Lifelong Delawarean here...never thought there'd be other BoD'ers who been in my tiny state. We actually had a pretty decent indie wrestling scene at one time, with ECWA.

  17. I worked at Sallie mae, but got burnt out n did a career change, but bc of how banking heavy de is and how its cheap for the east coast, i could see myself moving back down there.

  18. Everyone I still keep in touch with from DE works at a bank in Wilmington. Citi bank or whatever the fuck it is now. Literally everyone.

  19. Oh yea dude. Im 28 and 5 of the 6 years i been out if college (wvu) i been doing banking. So likely ill end up back in de sooner or later. The reason soo many banks hq r in de is bc of the crazy tax breaks.

  20. Came here to add that we also "proudly" claim Kidman as well. And Manu, I guess? Although I think Afa and Sika have their wrestling school there as well. So maybe it's just that we Pennsylvanians have a high concentration of wrestling Samoans.
