On tap for tonight:
NXT airs at 9pm EST on the WWE Network as Sami Zayn will address the crowd after last week's loss to Adrian Neville.
In the NBA there are just two games on the schedule and both of them are on TNT. At 8:00pm EST, the Los Angeles Clippers take on the Miami Heat and a 10:30pm EST the Chicago Bulls take on the Sacramento Kings.
The NHL has 11 games on the schedule tonight with the Minnesota Wild vs. Philadelphia Flyers at 7:00pm EST on the NHL Network.
College Basketball has several games on National TV tonight as well.
And for those expecting a shoot interview poll, I will do have one up this week as I do not have the time for a shoot recap so two weeks from today I will post the Eric Bischoff RF Video Shoot Interview.

All of the e-mailer's list are things that I would watch (outside of BatB 95)
ReplyDeleteI'd add:
Rock-HHH Backlash 2000
The Michaels-Jericho matches from 2008
WrestleMania 17
MiTB 2011
There's obviously a shit ton more but those are the ones I thought of first.
Brian, you all moved into the new pad?
ReplyDeleteI really hate snow.
ReplyDeleteClose tomorrow morning.
ReplyDeleteFor the people that are ordering WK9. Here's a piece showing how Hiroshi Tanahashi saved NJPW and it's leading the company in to a new boom period.
ReplyDeletehttp://cewshreviews.blogspot.com.br/2014/11/njpw-lore-how-hiroshi-tanahashi-saved.html#more
Congrats! That's the best part because it's finally fucking over.
ReplyDeleteThey upped the price to $34.95 for it here in the States. Still worth it.
ReplyDeleteThanks. What a fucking process this has been.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I'm happy to see this quality of wrestling.
ReplyDeleteMoved over?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations man. Done packing up? I hope lol
ReplyDeleteClosing tomorrow and will be all moved in Wednesday. The closing got delayed a week so I had to reschedule the movers for the only day available they had, which was the day before Thanksgiving. The worst day to move. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteJust have to tape up the boxes. The movers come Wednesday but I am trying to get as much over as possible this weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat's with
ReplyDeletethe spacing
tonight?
Trying to stretch it out?
On a different work computer with severe formatting issues.
ReplyDeleteI fixed it so it wouldn't drive me insane.
ReplyDeleteOk, I may be in a snarky mood today (when am I not, lulz) But this just sounds like an e-mail where the e-mailer says "look Scott, I know a lot about wrestling and I know all the classic wrestling matches, I am so smart!)
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should "retire" for the rest of the night. :)
Thank you. It drove me nuts too.
ReplyDeleteIf Scott is the Vince of the BoD, what would Bayless be?
ReplyDeleteTony Garea
ReplyDeleteYou have more charisma than Garea.
ReplyDeleteSo does drywall.
ReplyDeleteSo the revised SurSer stip is apparently that everyone on Team Cena EXCEPT Cena gets fired if they lose. Not sure how that changes the outcome of the match, though.
ReplyDeleteEither someone turns on Cena and Authority wins or CenaWinsLOL.
ReplyDeleteWhat state are u in again ?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the mayor of New York state had the ballz to tell the NFL where to stick it.
ReplyDeleteTo the emailer: I'd watch every Superbrawl. Each one had at least one great match, I think
What'd the mayor say/do?
ReplyDelete1. The IC Title tournement in Brazil.
ReplyDelete2. The legendary match between Bret Hart and The Shreiking Sheik
Fellow WNYer here, we got lucky in Niagara with only a few inches. Hope my fellow BODers in the South of Buffalo are ok!
ReplyDeleteGovernor
ReplyDeleteYou try too hard
ReplyDeleteYOU SHOULD RANT SOME OF THOSE SHOWS, SIR...
ReplyDeleteSIR! OVER HERE SIR!
Told the NFL to get bent cause it's not safe enough for anyone to be on the streets let alone going to a football game.
ReplyDelete2006 and 2008 were pretty good years actually. Especially compared to today.
ReplyDeleteThe summer of 2006 (Edge/Cena and ECW) and the first part of 2008 (Cena surprise return, Flair retiring, Mayweather) were fun, interesting and exciting. And Cena didnt win all the time. In fact, not a surprise that those good periods coincided with Cena not being Superman.
When I did the Network free trial, I watched the WCW PPVs starting from Sept 1996 thru Sting/Hogan. Not all were great but it was fascinating to watch the nWo and the product evolve.
ReplyDeleteOr he's just a giant wrestling nerd like the rest of us, playing the same "desert island" game that we've had here 100 times.
ReplyDelete... and thus crumbles the base of logic upon which the entire Authority/Cena adversarial relationship exists. Cena is WWE's biggest cash cow, they admit this on TV, and as part of an angle say they can't fire him because of that fact. There is no reason for the Authority to have made an enemy of Cena. You literally have to dial down your brain to hermit crab level to just shut up and go along with it.
ReplyDeleteNitro. I've been watching them in order and totally worth the time though I watched A LOT of the live.
ReplyDeleteShawn/Jericho '08 is the best feud of the year, and they got a good seven or eight matches out of it IIRC.
ReplyDeleteOh for the snow.
ReplyDeleteThe NFL wanted to have the game? The arena would have been empty.
The Bills offered free tickets and 10/hr to anyone that would shovel snow. NFL people are shameless.
ReplyDeleteI'm more tempted to watch the later stuff because the Raw and Smackdown shows are actually available so I could follow the angles instead of just payoff matches.
ReplyDeleteI decided to take the advice of Mr. Keith.
ReplyDeleteBut then I realized that they don't organize the shows by year. So I had to open wikipedia to determine the order of the ppvs. Everyone loves extra steps!
Sigh.
Or forever. That would be nice.
ReplyDeleteSo does Mick Foley. ZING.
ReplyDeleteI wish it would snow here :(
ReplyDeleteJust like for Jerry Lawler and Terry Funk!
ReplyDeleteOr, ya know, maybe he wrote an email about wrestling to the guy who runs a wrestling website.
ReplyDeleteGood lord you're an angry lil weirdo VJ.
Lulzlulzlulz ;) yuck
Because to creative Main Event exists in a different WWE Universe amongst the WWE Multiverse. Thus no one treats it as if it's relevant.
ReplyDeleteSo much for global warming. You might as well call this era the new Ice Age.
ReplyDeleteCrazy talk.
ReplyDeleteWhat blizzard? I live in Buffalo and we ain't got shit. Fucking southtowners, move out of the fucking woods.
ReplyDeleteWhat he needs to try too hard at is finding a new place to troll.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you using to watch? The website lets you do that now.
ReplyDeleteI'm in a weird little valley between the Adirondacks and the St. Lawrence Rver so i don't get all the lake effect snow that downstate gets. My mom is just a hair south in Philadelphia NY, outside Watertown, qnd they got hammered.
ReplyDeleteLet's see.. the Earth got warmer.. that caused the Polar ice caps to melt. That Arctic ice influences atmospheric circulation and, hence, weather and climate changes. Earth eventually gets warm again.. maybe some humans will be around to complain about it.
ReplyDeleteLOL, the guy who wrote 17 screeching essays on Andy PG's thread on Monday calling someone else an angry little weirdo? This is like watching Hornswoggle make fun of someone for being a midget.
ReplyDelete*checks schedule** THE JETS? Yeah, the NFL can eat a dick. Had it been a team that wasn't 2-8, maybe. MAYBE.
ReplyDeleteFuck man, you're using science here! Good job.
ReplyDeleteI've got a guy there who still cannot get to work.
ReplyDeleteThe snow band was insane. We had parts with only 3.5 inches, and then just six miles south... 70 inches.
ReplyDeleteI dig it. Oh yeah.
ReplyDeleteI live in Kaisertown. Too north to be considered South Buffalo, borders on cheekto.....5ft of snow. But man these snow days are nice
ReplyDeleteWorst card of the year, by far. The Survivor Series was the PPV I used to look forward to the most ever since I was a kid. Now, it's complete garbage. They seriously couldn't even add a throw away elimination style match with guys on the roster they have nothing for like they used to do? They used to get some good matches from doing that.
ReplyDelete... buaha, nevermind. After taking a look at the roster, their talent isn't deep enough. Holy crap. Still, instead of a shitty fatal four way tag match, they should have made that an elimination match between Stardust/Miz/Sandow vs. Usos/El Matadors.
Sheamus run-in. Not saying it will happen, but it's possible.
ReplyDeleteOh, it's actively bad, alright.
ReplyDeleteisn't this something that has been this way since the start? usually the more interesting/controversial/crazy the person portrayed is/was, the better the documentary (I mean, just from a "life story" point of view a feature about someone like Jake Roberts obviously seems more captivating than someone with less ups and downs).
ReplyDeleteuhm, what? Damien "Mizdow" says hello.
ReplyDeleteI bought the Savage blu ray on Tuesday and I'm planning on watching it before Survivor Series on Sunday. Really looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteWhat, the nonsensical Ambrose/Wyatt feud that no one cares about nor understands doesn't get your keys jiggling? What about the almighty Authority going against John Cena for.. whatever reason, with a stipulation that will play out for like, I don't know, a week? Two diva matches and a non-developed tag match isn't WELL BOOKED? FUCK ME RUNNIN', man.
ReplyDeleteRemind me why they're fighting again and why I should give a shit about the match in general?
ReplyDeleteYou couldn't have used a better match for your comparison?
ReplyDeleteLiving in California, I've never been in the snow but I can say that if I had a random week off stuck inside, I'd watch Punk's title defenses. Didn't order all of them and it'd be nice to see them all before being bummed that he's still gone.
ReplyDelete
