Ryback Update

At one point there was talk of a Ryback vs. HHH match taking place at the Royal Rumble but there is speculation now that idea might not happen due to officials souring on Ryback's recent RAW match against Cesaro.

  1. F'N Body Slams - Dan SelbyDecember 1, 2014 at 7:05 AM

I'm rather confused by that gift 'deal' - it's $9.99 a month, anyway lmao

    ReplyDelete
  2. The streaming stick is $79 on its own. So you're effectively getting the network for $3.42/month.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Or a stick for 12 cents!

    ReplyDelete
  4. The stick is a nice throw-in. Plus, it's designed to give to others.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I gave your mom the stick for only 12 cents!

    ReplyDelete
  6. I like Ryback and think a lot of people don't like him because not liking things is the default smark thing to do... but if they are going to keep being unimpressed with his work and give up on pushes after they start because of it... maybe it is time to throw in the towel.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Group DD yeah! I like a woman with an empty head and a full sweater, Wooooooooooooooooooo!

    ReplyDelete
  8. They are essentially re-heating his 2012 push, which they gave up on two years ago, made him into a lower card guy then took him off TV for a few months and expected everyone to care again and for him to all of a sudden get better. It never works that way.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Well honestly he seems pretty over... and has a certain type of charisma... but instead of having him fuck around with Curtis Axel they should have made him learn how to work a match where he won't kill people... and if he couldn't learn just get rid of him... this approach is just stupid... man I used a lot of ellipses in this comment...

    ReplyDelete
  10. He hasn't evolved one bit since the last time they tried to push him. They're doing the exact same thing that failed the first time around, based off (I think) a good crowd reaction when he came back.

    ReplyDelete
  11. "There is speculation now that idea might not happen due to officials souring on Ryback's recent RAW match against Cesaro."

Or Triple H listened to the Punk podcast and, in addition to becoming pissed at Punk, realized that Ryback doesn't know how to work a match without breaking his opponent's bones and decided to change plans.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Its the WWE and their shitty way of booking people. Out of the blue they expect you just to believe that someone is a big deal, despite being a joke of sorts for a year and a half. Plus, after three weeks of TV revolving around him, he is the first eliminated on his team at Survivor Series. That's awful and people wonder why those here shit all over WWE's storylines and booking philosophies.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Wait a minute, I remember being very impressed with the Ryback/Cesaro match, and felt Ryback did a good job keeping up. So that confuses me.

Also, I wonder if HHH/Ryback would be a message to Punk saying "I'm not a big wuss, so I'll gladly work with him, and I won't get hurt".

    ReplyDelete
  14. To be honest, it can work sometimes. Like I really don't care how many times Ziggler jobbed in the past year, he seems like a big deal now. I think most casual fans actually have short memories. Dolph is on a roll right now, that's all that matters.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Agreed. He is over and could be a big deal... but they didn't use the time after his initial push wisely... I blame him to a degree also... but if you are going to keep getting pushed it is hard to understand why you should get any better at what you are doing (other that genuine pride in what you do).

    ReplyDelete
  16. No matter what happened, Ziggler always got great crowd reactions. They love him.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Son of bitch!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yep, for me, it's the fire he kept showing, even with the losses. Like he so badly wanted to break through, and that didn't only show in real life, but in his character too. It's easy to get behind that, and I'm glad he kept working hard.

    ReplyDelete
  19. that isn't the part I struggle with. I struggle with their own decision making... if they see he isn't improving why start the push in the first place, why not say "If you improve we see big things for you, but you need to work at it and show us you deserve it."

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yeah that's true, since there are other big guys that could be put in his spot (like Big E for example). Gotta have some improvement eventually.

    ReplyDelete
  21. "Wait a minute, I remember being very impressed with the Ryback/Cesaro
match, and felt Ryback did a good job keeping up. So that confuses me."

    Maybe your judgement is flawed?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Maybe?! Maybe?!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I went into the match feeling sorry for Cesaro, that he's basically have to "slow down" so Ryback doesn't look terrible. It was actually a solid big vs big match. I think others gave it an easy 3 stars actually. I just didn't think Ryback looked bad in it.

    ReplyDelete
  24. They should have Ryback/HHH do the table spot that injured Punk, and have HHH completely no-sell it

    ReplyDelete
  25. Big E is another guy I was enjoying initially that has floundered for over a year. I apparently enjoy muscle head gimmicks.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Crikey Mate Down Under AussieDecember 1, 2014 at 7:23 AM

So will there be more Punk chants than usual at Raw? Not sure how much of the fanbase listened to the podcast.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I never got why they gave up Big E so quickly. The guy shows a ton of charisma on social media but they never let him speak or do anything. And him doing the 5 count gimmick in Developmental could have gotten over big on the main roster.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Cesaro could have a 3 star match with a bucket of shit, doesn't mean a bucket of shit should start main eventing pay per views.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'm sure a few will chant, and others will join along.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I honestly don't remember it. But there seems to be a lot of credible evidence that Ryback is dangerous to work with.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I'm going to have to look on YouTube for Bucket of Shit. The guy seems impressive if he can have a 3 star match.

    ReplyDelete
  32. He has hurt quite a few people

    ReplyDelete
  33. Or DOES it?!?!?!

That is a million dollar idea!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I don't know man, that bucket has strong wrestling lineage in Moppy and Duke Droese's dumpster

    ReplyDelete
  35. SO YOU DID NOT WATCH! THEN YOU SUCK! I WATCHED, SO MY OPINION MATTERS!!

Sorry, sorry. I had to do it. :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'm just saying in all honesty, I was fearing for the worst, and felt Ryback held his own. So I'm surprised that this specific match made them lose confidence in him, when it could have been 100 times worse.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I didn't say I didn't watch, I just don't remember it.

But I'm glad I could help you get that off your chest.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Ryback is great. Until he starts moving around and tries to wrestle, or even walking properly.

That's when he gets into trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Typical smarks. Defending bucket of shit. Sick of it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. That's what she said!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Bucket of Shit had a really disappointing house show match with broomstick in the 80s, so they gave up on him.

    ReplyDelete
  42. The news about Ryback says more about their opinion about Cesaro than it does about Ryback's prospects.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yeah, not sure what happened there. His push halted at an incredible SPEED, and he was FORCED down the card.

    ReplyDelete
  44. That does sound like the type of macho sour grapes thing they would do.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Hey, it made Warrior's night under a WCW ring miserable. That is why they love it.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Cesaro is really far down the card now. The fans stopped caring about him too. You can hear a pin drop when he wrestles now.

    ReplyDelete
  47. His promos got a lot better as 2013 went on. He should maybe just be some better wrestlers angry bodyguard.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Well today is a NEW DAY maybe he still has a chance

    ReplyDelete
  49. But its a NEW DAY. No telling what can happen now

    ReplyDelete
  50. HAHAHAHA I GOT THERE FIRST!!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. That WOULD be a classic Triple H move.

"Nobody laid down for me to make me a star! And when other guys didn't want to work with Ryback because they said he was dangerous, I stepped up and did what was best for THIS BUSINESS!"

    ReplyDelete
  52. Call me overly naive, but I think he could be rebuilt yet again. Give him a month or 2 of strong wins, and BAM. (whether they actually do this, is another question). But with his move set, he can always be a big player at any time they choose.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Bully Ryback was a really good character

    ReplyDelete
  54. <<< Franchise Player

    ReplyDelete
  55. If you keep on losing and turn face, you have a chance

    ReplyDelete
  56. Well, when you take away his best spot (the Swing) after Heyman promoted him as "The Sultan of Swing"... what do you expect?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Agreed... I just don't think they see him that way for whatever reason,

    ReplyDelete
  58. This is true. They've pushed and depushed Ziggler a dozen times now (and probably will do so again) and the fans always rally around him when they actually push him. Cesaro is at his talent level.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I'll say it again, the decision to align him with Heyman was a terrible choice. He should have been a face after splitting from Swagger and Zeb. I have no reason why they went the route they did. Cesaro was getting great reactions from the crowd before that.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I'll just put this here too:

The ultimate WWE troll job would be the Wrestlemania 31 main event of Miz vs Ryback. BOOK IT!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Yeah, seems bad for caesaro.
I hope they put him in a tag team ( maybe back with Swagger?) and let him have good maches with New Day/USO's/Ascension, and let him get reheated.

    ReplyDelete
  62. They would lose a shitload. But it would be an entertaining dumpster fire

    ReplyDelete
  63. Gotta be s "Main Event" attraction, third from the top.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I think it would have been perfect had he just turned face at SummerSlam, when Heyman was ignoring him while drooling over Brock.

So I had no problem with the Heyman thing to keep him busy and credible for a few months... But the follow up was just non existant. It could have worked, they just forgot about him.

    ReplyDelete
  65. It was clear they never thought of Cesaro as a top of the card guy with the Heyman alignment. Seems like Vince gave up on him after two weeks

    ReplyDelete
  66. Only if we involve HHH somehow. There's not enough hatred for those two guys. They've both been pretty entertaining recently.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I find it weird, if they didn't see him as a top guy, why give him the WM 30 battle royale? did they see a future in him, then suddenly change their minds? (see? I don't defend WWE about *EVERYTHING*!)

    ReplyDelete
  68. HHH can win Money In The Bank on the same night. That would give us hope for the future, a guaranteed HHH title reign on the cards.

    ReplyDelete
  69. HHH is quite popular amongst quite a few "smarks" these days. Certainly more than the Miz is.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Keller said that HHH is a big advocate of Cesaro but Vince does not see him as a top guy at all. Vince just doesnt see it with him I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I almost feel like he should win a battle royal at Mania again, essentially just hitting the reset button. It's sad, though--if you had a power rankings listing, Cesaro probably would've cracked the Top 5 during Wrestlemania week.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Oh, this troll job is specifically designed at Punk, and nobody else. (but yep, HHH as a special ref)

    ReplyDelete
  73. I would have thought the exact opposite:

Vince: He's freakishly strong like Cena
HHH: But he turned down my workout offer.

    ReplyDelete
  74. It failed last time because he lost several consecutive PPV matches. Ryback failing isn't an inevitability the way some act like it is. The guy isn't Daniel Bryan, but he does have a lot of personality/charisma and the fans seem to appreciate that.

    ReplyDelete
  75. It would prove or disprove punks statement that mania itself is the draw.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I think I counted 9 consecutive PPV's in a row that he appeared on without getting a win. Ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I thought Vince was more about the physique than functional strength (although Cena fulfills both of those). Cesaro has a great physique, but he's more lean/ripped than huge. And he has that sort of old school wrestler thing going on that I could see HHH being a fan of.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I imagine it would disprove the statement pretty handily, and I like the Miz and love The Ryback.

    ReplyDelete
  79. The highest grossing movie of all time?

    ReplyDelete
  80. It's difficult to know exactly when they gave up on him. He won at Extreme Rules and was in Money In The Bank's main event, but even by MITB I think he'd been jobbing away on TV.

    ReplyDelete
  81. You probably can't tell what's actually happening in the ring and are just enjoying the spectacle of a match.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Make is a Three Stages of Hell match too.

    ReplyDelete
  83. If that's the case, then I'm happy to be "foolish and happy". At least that allows me to enjoy wrestling without nitpicking at every little thing. YAY ME!!

    ReplyDelete
  84. See, this is how you use trolling powers for good (entertainment value) rather than evil.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Yep, he was the definition of "Jobber to the stars". I hope he saved his money smartly though, as he was in a lot of high profile PPV matches. Lots of guys would just blow it all in a few months.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Watching the Kayfabe Commentaries "Back to the Territories" with Cornette and Duggan talking about Mid South. Great stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I'd love to see that, but I doubt the Ryback could get Trips up for the military press the way he did Punk. HHH is almost as big as Da Big Guy.

    ReplyDelete
  88. You don't think Ryback is strong enough to military press HHH? I disagree.

    ReplyDelete
  89. At this point I don't have any interest in watching a match like that. I've seen thousands of matches, there is nothing new for me. A babyface come back, a big high spot, whatever, not that interesting to me personally. I can only enjoy a match by watching it to see who is doing what, and how they are pulling off the match. Its also why my star ratings are so precise.

    ReplyDelete
  90. The Roku stick package idea is a great one. Been saying they should partner with Roku for a while now, makes total sense. They need to go all out to gain awareness and get the product in front of people. Well, that and improve the shit out of it too.

    ReplyDelete
  91. His food bill has to be 100k month. There is a pretty funny video of Al Snow talking about how much he eats.

    ReplyDelete
  92. *Working with Cesaro exposes Ryback*
*Instead of pushing Cesaro in exchange, they just decide to de-push Ryback*
    *No one gets over*

    ReplyDelete
  93. oh right, the star ratingz criteria. You need to educate Andy!

    ReplyDelete
  94. Bastards need to have an affiliate program for the network something fierce... I could sell the shit out of this... but I only put out content I think will get me paid. If it don't make dollars it don't make sense.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Yeah, I mean, I don't get why WWE thinks Cesaro "exposed" Ryback since 1) they know good and well what the guy is like in the ring, and 2) I actually thought it was one of his more hard-hitting matches.

Ryback isn't the next Terry Gordy or anything, but I feel like he's a perfectly serviceable bruiser-type in a WWE era that doesn't have a lot of those. They don't have to push him to the moon, but I wish they'd actually stick with one of his pushes for more than two months just to see where it goes.

    ReplyDelete
  96. There was time in 2012 when his strength was in question as he struggle with lifting some average (by wrestling standards) guys. He had major problems with Paul Heyman, for example. I think his functional strength has improved since then, though.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Yeah the whole Cesaro/Ryback and Ryback vs. HHH story seems completely fabricated.

    ReplyDelete
  98. "Smarks like this, smarks do that..." Why is the word "smark" used in a derogatory way? Isn't the definition of smark: Smart Mark....just someone who knows the business is worked, but watches it and/or buys shows/ppvs/network/merch anyway?

When did this become some sort of hivemind with a negative connotation? I only know of one or two people here that seem to bitch about nearly everything, but that doesn't really constitute an entire community, does it?

Anyway, it's just interesting to me is all.

    ReplyDelete
  99. He's too far gone to use the Dooley system but he could still provide a fun and timely recap of raw and utilize his own unique match rating system. I might have to watch one match from raw tonight so I can double check his rating and method in the comments.

    ReplyDelete
  100. No one but Vince Jordan uses the term smark negatively.

    ReplyDelete
  101. That's just crazy talk. Stop talking crazy.

    ReplyDelete
  102. WTF with the Nikki Bella promo? Is she a face or a heel? And then you read her and Cena's tweets about the edited promo and how Cena is proud of Nikki for "speaking from the heart." I have to imagine this is due to Nikki's comments about caring about the kids in the audience.

So I have to ask again: Is Nikki a face or a heel? If she's cutting a promo about how AJ doesn't care about the kids, whines and is a loner, then what the hell have the last three-plus months of Nikki being a royal b**** meant? I almost have to think that Cena and Nikki are trying to retcon Nikki's heel turn in a purely self-serving way.

    Jesus, my head hurts.

    ReplyDelete
  103. No, I've seen from more than just VJ.

    ReplyDelete
  104. She's not face or heel. She's FEARLESS.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Eff that. I want to see Miz vs. Mizdow in a match for the right to The Miz gimmick.

Seeing Miz flounder because he's forced to be Mike Mizanin would be comedy gold.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Ryback hit both Mark Henry and the Big Show with the Shell Shocked in 2013. The Heyman botch wasn't too long before that, so I don't think the problem there was with strength. Heyman is nowhere near as heavy as Henry or Show.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Could you imagine hhh working a program with Ryback? There might not be enough dirt in Connecticut for how bad the big guy would get buried.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Yup. This means they see him more as a utility guy. Like they did with Val Venis, who would be put in matches against up-and-comers and would report back with a thumbs up or thumbs down (from a shoot interview he did, I believe).

    ReplyDelete
  109. Maybe she went off book a little bit...

    ReplyDelete
  110. All the guys I've seen Ryback military press were on the smaller/leaner side (Punk, Rhodes, Cesaro, Ziggler) and he seemed to struggle slightly with just about all of them. HHH is much bigger than any of those guys.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Bucket of Shit was reportedly on the shortlist to get the title in the fall of 92.

    ReplyDelete
  112. If she's so fearless, why did it take her so long to tell us about Brie's hijinks at prom night, taking final exams, and being responsible for 9/11? Sorry, I'm not buying it.

    ReplyDelete
  113. "No one that matters uses the term negatively."

    That's my take on it.

    ReplyDelete
  114. For me, "smark" is indeed derogatory now. Basically it's the new term for "overly negative/nitpicky/know-it-all". "Typical Smark" or "Super Smark" can also be used, if it's simpler.

    ReplyDelete
  115. She was afraid of #BRIEMODE

    ReplyDelete
  116. Now I picture Batista in that role. Thumbs up..... They overpush a guy for 3 years, to terrible results.... Then Batista turns the thumb down. DAMN YOU BATISTA!!

    ReplyDelete
  117. The company is writing awful storylines and this is one of them.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Okay, so you made me want to read the transcript and I did....

    ....and I have no idea.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Ugh I clicked the Bella promo link...wtf is she talking about and of course they cut a divas promo, I'm sure it was to save time and other than the match she had she this is the best fat to cut off the show. I don't even get it, is that supposed to mean anything to people? She was a heel like two weeks ago right?

    ReplyDelete
  120. Punk talked bad about Ryback. HHH would do everything in his power to make him look like the safest and most talented guy in the world.

    ReplyDelete
  121. This is a company that took about four months to figure out whether or not The Authority were faces or heels, and they were the main focus of the shows.

with that in mind, this Nikki Bella stuff is par for the course.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Thinking about wwe Bella's logic is like staring into the sun. Don't do it.

    ReplyDelete
  123. HA! sounds like my job! We pick a few random bills/claims, and double check it. You shall do the same tonight!

    ReplyDelete
  124. *Batista comes through the curtain(

HHH: "Hey Dave, what do you think?"

    *Thumbs up*

    World champion Bo Dallas

    ReplyDelete
  125. Right ahead of Tito Santana.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I think lumping people into one category to suit your opinion is as negative as the opinions expressed by the person you're calling a "smark" in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  127. What's funny about the whole Cesaro thing is they had a chance to turn him face but they didn't yet they keep on shoving Jack Swagger down our throats as this big patriot face. The minute they separate Swagger from Zeb he becomes "Curtis Axel," but Swagger has been their pet project for years so he must get over no matter what it takes.

    ReplyDelete
  128. 1. Brie quits WWE to save Bryan's title. Bryan is stripped of the title anyway.
    2. Nikki is punished by Stephanie because Stephanie is bitter about Brie.
    3. Nikki turns on Brie and joins Stephanie, her tormentor.
    4. We get the physical trainer affair with Bryan, "died in the womb!" and Jerry Springer as a reward.
    5. Brie goes into #BRIEMODE and challenges Nikki, but then loses and has to become her BITCH.
    6. Brie helps arch enemy Nikki win the title because reasons.
    7. Nikki, a character with no redeeming qualities, cuts an impassioned promo to get fans on her side. Cena applauds.

I don't know, man. It all makes sense to me.

    ReplyDelete
  129. I honestly think this was a shoot... it's the only thing that makes sense because the promo doesn't fit her character, it would be typical of a girl to be catty like that when it isn't appropriate, and would explain why they cut it down.

    ReplyDelete
  130. I'll be perfectly honest, I have paid ZERO attention to the whole Bella thing. Simply do not care. So if it's horrible, in this case, I'll take your words for it.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Will never happen, but if Ryback gets a "dumb as fuck" chant I'll laugh hysterically

    ReplyDelete
  132. HowmuchdoesthisguyweighDecember 1, 2014 at 8:06 AM

    Fantastic idea.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I don't know, of all the people who have been absurdly jobbed out in the past 5 years, I'd say Swagger is one of the biggest victims. 6'7, 270 lbs, amateur wrestling credentials... And he's one step above Zach Ryder it seems. A few random pushes here and there, but he usually loses.

    ReplyDelete
  134. What a six months of shit this has turned out to be.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Scroll down half a page. I've detailed the complex, intricate, ever-evolving plot that would make Shakespeare, Shelley, and Shyamalan proud.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Fireman's carry for the Shell Shock is a helluva lot easier than a military press.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Yeah, but then you have to ask....what the fuck was she really shooting on? AJ's interaction with fans? I've never heard anything negative said about how AJ treats fans.

    It's so confusing.

    ReplyDelete
  138. hmmm.... I think i'll stick to my "not caring" thing. This is one of the few instances that I'm giving you guys the benefit of the doubt that something sucks. :)

    ReplyDelete
  139. "Awful" isn't a strong enough adjective. "Atrocious" or "abysmal" might work better.

Don't get me started on the other 25 letters of the alphabet...

    ReplyDelete
  140. Just saw reys pic of konnan getting arrested at the Chargers vs Raiders game. To anyone who lives in the area (either here or up there) and doesn't like either team this is such a stereotypical thing and why I hate going to those games. ARRIBA LA RAZA

    ReplyDelete
  141. I'm not sure if it helps Sandow's career long term, but those two could make it highly engaging and funny. I liked it, anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  142. 9 upvotes for Scott and none for me! I introduced Bucket Of Shit! This is outrageous!

    ReplyDelete
  143. WTF? I have not heard of this.

    ReplyDelete
  144. You've chosen well.

    ReplyDelete
  145. You got buried by politics.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Thank you for being perfectly honest, Vince.

    ReplyDelete
  147. It's called hell week. Raiders fans are dicks.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Alright that is a very good point, but I could also see the production being like "oh we gotta 40 seconds, hmmm..."

    ReplyDelete
  149. I never understood this "You prefer watching a certain team that is different from the team that I prefer watching, so I will now try to physically injure you because of that".

  150. Is that Rey in the front of the photo? He looks like a total dope - now I'm glad he got booed at the Rumble.

  151. Gang gang gang all the way. I've been to 3 of them and it was like being in a prison riot. You just don't bring kids and girls to those games because its fist fight, drunk pissing, stabbing, more fights, gang posturing, robberies, and then more fights.

  152. Why did he get arrested? I listened to the MLW pod last night and Konnan was on and must have completely missed it.

  158. Also chargers fans are dicks so its really a perfect storm of Mexican trouble making.

  159. I remember a few years ago, the Raiders' final game was at home against SD, and they were in the playoffs with a win. They lost, and the fans were shown just quietly leaving the stands. I was seriously shocked that they were so behaved.

  160. Everything about that sentence sounds legit.

    ReplyDelete
  161. You missed it, bud. Konnan explained it in his podcast. Pretty much Konnan needed Rey's keys for something but he was near an area where workers of the stadium told him he wasn't allowed to cross. Konnan said he wasn't leaving anywhere because he needed the keys and the cops basically profiled him as a drunk rowdy fan (he was sober) and detained him aggressively to send a message to any of the Raider's fans. He never got arrested just detained.

  162. Now I know how everyone feels. :(

  163. LOL Because of his face?

  164. Then they'll randomly push Cesaro to a top feud despite treating him like a nobody for 8 months. When the match doesn't sell out a 20,000 seat arena, he'll be blamed for not getting over.

  165. Here. Have an upvote, kid. Hang in there.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Well, he does have a stupid Mexican Cabbage Patch kid face, so I see why you would be glad to boo that.

  167. Before the Network, I'd go to a restaurant to watch the PPVs. There were two guys that liked the Miz which did not make one guy happy. He proceeded to yell "QUIT CHEERING FOR THE MIZ! ITS NOT FUCKING FUNNY" and tried to fight them. It was hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Also, Ryback has one bad match so they stop his push.

  178. He's pretty much always had a manager/mouthpiece though. So that really shouldn't affect anything. Oh well, lots of wasted potential.

  179. "We haven't done anything with Ryback in a while, maybe he doesn't suck any more?" "Oh man, what a shock, he still sucks, nevermind."

  180. What did they do? Tre Mason got in me the fantasy playoffa singlehandedly so I don't want anyone being mean to him.

    ReplyDelete
  181. To be fair, isn't it now pretty much factually proven that the cop acted in self defense? I kind of understand the cops being upset.

    ReplyDelete
  182. They did a "hands up, don't shoot" motion while entering the field.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Chris Givens, Kenny Britt, Tavon Austin, Jared Cook and Stedman Bailey came out with the "hands up" pose, then the rest of the team followed them out of the tunnel.

    ReplyDelete
  184. In hindsight the Raiders should have done that first.

Walked out the subway and to my interview, looking fantastic in my suit, "Cult of Personality" blaring in my headphones. Got to the front of the building for my interview, knelt on the ground, looked at my watch and yelled out, "IT'S CLOBBERING TIME!" Police arrested me before I got in the building. Plus, I ruined my suit pants by kneeling. Just got released on bail.

    I'm going home.

  188. I think it's time to accept that there CAN be the occasional honest white cop, and the occasion black criminal. I mean, it's way out there, but it CAN be possible at least 1% of the time.

  189. Then how do you differentiate people who know how things work but are not particularly negative from people who don't know how it works at all and just always thought it was cool how Undertaker could do magic?
